Hi all,

i hope someone can help me out.
I use a HDD in Fat32 format. So bigger Wii games needs to be splitted. I used TinyWiiBackupManager to install all my games. All GC and Wii (non splitted) games to work well but only the splitted Wii games don´t start. I get back to the wii menu after starting those games. I already installed my cIOS. Below is my Syscheck.

Region: PAL
Systemmenue 4.3E (v514)
Priiloader installiert
Laufwerksdatum: 13.02.2007
Homebrewkanal 1.1.0 benutzt IOS58

Hollywood v0x11
Konsolen-ID: XXXXXX
Konsolentyp: Wii
Shop-Kanal-Land: Germany (78)
Boot2 v4

Hello,

Perhaps your game is corrupted?

Is your game PAL?

Is GX (v1283) up to date?

What file system format does your hard drive use (MBR or GPT)?

Logically, MBR.
Its MBR

I solved my problem. I reinstalled the concerned games with WiiBackupManager and it worked perfectly. So the problem must be related to the TinyWiiBackupManager.

Can you elaborate on what games and what version of TinyWiiBackupManager you used? It may help @mq1 debug it, if he hasn't fixed it already that is (the pace of his updates is unreal! Lol)

Every game that needs to be spitted due to over 4gb sice on a Fat32 storage is concerned. So the fault can be narrowed down to the splitting process imo. I used Version 5.1.15. If more information are needed please let me know.

I fixed this in v5.1.19+, splitting was broken in v5.1.10-v5.1.18 for some games (i made a dumb mistake when adding support for modded games that required > 2 splits 🥲)

i think i'll slow down a bit, i'm FINALLY starting my internship so i'll be a bit busy, but i'll try my best to handle eventual bug reports (no new features are planned for now btw) 🚀
