@DeadSkullzJr Hey, I play the Complete Version of Sacred Gold, just got 16 Badges, defeated Red and got the Quest for Arceus. Right now I am collecting all Legendaries and I dont know why but I just can't trigger the event for Jirachi. I have the Azure Flute but in front of the theater in Ecruteak City there is nobody and in Mt. Mortar is no Jirachi either. I also talked with the NPC in that Pokemon Center for settings Flags but this also didn't help. Is there any solution to this, maybe with PokeHeX? (Without just giving it to me)

Might have missed something along the way. I'll have to check up on the documentation again to refresh my memory (tired so my brain isn't working right today lol). What you can try is seeing if it works correctly when you use 1.0.5 (just be sure you enter a house or something to refresh the overworld contents). Could be that whenever 1.1.0 came out, something broke. You could send me a copy of your save, so I can test on my end when I can, if you want that is.

Edit:
So testing in 1.0.5, the event still doesn't trigger. I'm thinking some how a flag was set for this. I may have to manually play up to this point myself just to see what's up with it.
Depends, if I potentially broke the update on accident, did I still help lol?

Thanks again, I'll check it out when I can.

Hey guy's I've been doing my best to figure out how to download Pokemon sacred gold on my Mac and it has been incredibly difficult for me. I have tried numerous roms of Pokemon heart gold and different patching tools to no success. Are there any reliable guides or tips to get sacred gold on a MacBook?

You just compare it with the value given in the readme.
The hash is a short string of numbers that lets you check whether a file is the exact version you are expecting. A small difference in the content of the file (e.g. just enough to break the patcher) will make the hash be completely different.
Check the file against a hash generator solution like 7-Zip (it has quite a few hash options), or an online hash file checker. The objective is to match the information presented in the read me document. If the data is an exact match, then the ROM you have is clean and will work with the patch.
Really appreciate the work you've done updating this game! I am not at all technical or into modifying roms, but as an attempt I took a stab at adapting a mod onto version 1.1.2 of Storm Silver. This patch should replace the main female character with Kris based on this https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonROM...old_in_heartgold_soulsilver_decapitalization/ I basically just swapped in all the necessary files and created a patch to be used after applying deadskulls 1.1.2 patch. Right now, it only works for storm silver.
Hello everyone, I finally got around to make a fix update for these ROM hacks. There has been tons of confusion between 1.0.5 and 1.1.0 over the years, and since 1.1.0 didn't get a Classic version update, I went ahead and did some work.
v1.1.1 - August 18, 2025 DeadSkullzJr: - Made adjustments to the ROM images.
- Updated the Classic version of the ROM hack.
- Removed the anti-piracy bypass patch.
The anti-piracy bypass patch was removed, it's generally a bad practice to apply patches like these to ROM hacks due to the constant changes that occur to the ROM image(s). The other reason is because anti piracy bypass solutions tend to receive updates from time to time to account for aspects of the game that may have been missed in the past. Lastly, these types of patches should only ever be applied by the end user and not forced, these should only ever be used if by chance the environment you are working with requires a solution like this for the game(s) to run properly, not all environments are guaranteed to operate the same exact way or handle game related data in the same manner.
DOWNLOAD CONTENTS: - Documentation This information covers the changes and or general aspects about the software in question. - Patches The patch(es) provided strictly contains the binary differences between the original software and the modified software. These patches by themselves are NOT functional in any capacity without the original software in question. As such, the patch(es), by extension the modified form of the software, will only work if the original software is acquired. How that is obtained is solely at your discretion, preferably through legal means. ROM images are NOT being provided in any capacity.
Hello everyone! I’ve been enjoying Sacred Gold for the past week (the v1.05 complete version), I ran into a bug that Drayano (the romhack creator) already listed in the bugs section. The bug prevents players from receiving the Enigma Stone key item from Steven in Pewter City after catching Regigigas. Instead, Steven asks to battle even if you show him a Latias/Latios.
I could’ve just used PokeGen to hack in the Enigma Stone, but I felt like creating xdelta patches for Sacred Gold & Storm Silver to workaround the issue. After some digging around earlier today, I found out how to accomplish this with DSPRE and changing Steven’s script to call the function for giving the Enigma Stone, that way you can get the other Lati!
I’ve attached xdelta files for both games, tested them with my save and it worked. I recommend applying the patch to a copy of your game, so you can go back to playing the rom hack without my patch after getting the item. Also before I made the patches, DSPRE exported my modified game a bit larger than the original which is why the patch files are about 600 KB instead of only a couple KB.
Thank you for reading, I hope this helps those that ran into the bug like I did! Below is a more technical explanation of the fix for those interested and below that are the patches:
After opening the game in DSPRE, I found Steven’s corresponding header when he’s inside the house in Pewter City via the “Header Editor” tab, it’s “477 – T03R0601”. I clicked on “Open Events” which opens Event File #430, took note of the Steven’s (ID 0, Entry 421) script number which is 1, and the flag number 16314 just in case. Then, I clicked on the “Open Scripts” button back in the header editor, which opens Script File #757 and loads script 1 by default, then clicked on the functions tab to play around with the functions. To prevent Steven from asking to battle, I cleared function #2 and removed #13, #17, & #18. I already got the Hoenn starters, so I felt like removing functions relating to that as well which are: #10-13, & 16. Function #8 handles the check for Latias in Sacred Gold, so in function #3 I changed replaced #13 in this line “JumpIf EQUAL Function #13” with #8; also I removed “Message 23” & “WaitButton” since that’s for Steven’s talk about the legendaries.
Function 1:
Movement Overworld.0 Action#1
WaitMovement
Please update this rom to have the types and abilities from renegade platinum! This will be the perfect hack (and is likely all people were wanting out of aurora crystal)
