prosperity gospel loves that version, and this passage from it:

"if thou give thy physical priest donations, it is good for thee to have thy ferrari."

their favorite line in prosperity gospel is this:

"pray to thy genie, and get whatever thou wants, even a bazillion dollars, because all, even thy drunkeness on thy roads, is good for thee!"

I don't follow prosperity gospel, so I don't have a magic genie to sell my soul to.

And today, just driving to tutor alone, I was nearly killed eleven times by violent drivers who were going far over the speed limit and breaking many rules. What did I do to get people to hate me that much for going in to work to tutor?

I don't like profanity.

That said, I feel like a lot of people came after me, for making the decision to _not_ go through with being a Bureaucrat, mocking satan for tempting me to be one, and being snarky about a lot of violent actions done against me.

I just want to take it easy, relax, and have an enjoyable place to work.

I expected for this to happen, one hundred percent, for refusing satan's offer.

And yet...I didn't break. I didn't give in.

It is entirely possible to make good choices when tempted to sell one's soul, and _still_ make them after the backlash.

I just proved that.

For all of the devil's antics, he tried and failed, he tried and failed.

I'm still making good choices!
