@Metoroid0

You know what? Your extreme negativity and reactions to people who do not share your opinions make replying to your posts not worth it.

In other words: You are an opinion basher.
This is a forum for people to converse and debate

Also I haven’t heard “opinion basher” since i was like 12

Let's assume for a minute that the industry wants to kill off physical media. Key cards do not serve this purpose.

Also, the Xbox One didn't try to kill off physical media. They tried to add (more) DRM to physical media. There's a difference.

The physical/digital distinction is not relevant. The security measures are.
Key Cards require to download the game via the internet. M$ didn't try to kill off physical media? That's a damn lie 🤣 M$ tried to make it anti-2nd hand so their games wouldn't work if it were up to them.

They are effectively pushing customers to use their digital stores, you can't deny it whichever way you twist it.

So before Ridge Racer, there was Rave Racer. Cool.

I'm super interested in that Doraemon game so if it has a reasonable price I'll buy it.

No, Microslop didn't try to kill off physical media. They tried to add effectively always-online DRM to both physical and digital games. Which sucked, but it wasn't a plot to get rid of physical media, but rather to take control of the console away from the user. Which was honestly way *way* worse.

Yes, Key Cards are digital games. Digital games existed before key cards. They're not "pushing customers to use their digital stores." We're already there. These never replaced physical games on cart, they're an alternative to key-in-the-box.

Never replaced physical games on cart? Most NS2 games are Key Cards, Codes in Boxes, and a few full games on the cart. They have replaced it.

You should read the rest of the sentence. The game key cards were never going to be actual physical carts. No amount of tantrums will change this fact.

I don't know... It's an OK direct I guess, but nothing outstanding, not much new stuff.
And I get the feeling I would prefer to play all of that on PC/SteamDeck (and the few exclusives don't convince me otherwise).

Note that I do have a Switch 2, but what I guess what I considered the only advantage the Switch had going to it (real physical versions of games) is gone...

I would only still hope for a lighter/less powerful/smaller Steam Deck, by Valve, with Steam OS.
The current one is too heavy, I prefer the Switch 2 in that regard, but that's about it.

I said direct, not games.
Theres literally nothing entertaining in a direct in last couple years. Its just same presenter talikng what you already see on a screen in same tone of the voice and president standing like he has stick up in his ass, and saying "please take a look". If thats entertainment for you, all the power to you.

But as for the games, they suck as well. Nothing original or interesting.
Nothing interesting is subjective since I find a lot of ports interesting. It could be ports yes, but I haven't played these games and them arriving at my platform of choice is convenient. It's just more on preference. Life has caught up on me and gaming time is now as short as ever, my switch lite or switch 2 makes it possible to play games in a play or suspend way. Not everyone is happy of course, but a lot of people watch this direct for the games coming to the platform and it being an entertainment medium depends on the person.

It wasn't an awfull direct and I honestly think it's better than the last partner showcase...
However we already knew about a lot of their annoncement, so a lot of time it was just "fill the blank" moments for me with a little date annoncement in the end.
There are new stuff incoming, even some "exclusive launch" which is cool but each time the game in question doesnt seems that great in my opinion...or even after I didnt have any special "crush" on the subject...
I dont know... at least the console is still supported by a lot of devs (Square, Capcom, Konami and more) but it's a little depressing to still feel this emptiness and this lack of passion to inspire again...

it wasnt fishing it was genuine reaction since im sick of nintendo and their borring games and franchises, constant nostalgia trains, remakes and annoying fans wanting same over and over, not to mention their politics and leadership.
also directs are uninspiring and stupid. so it was more like a rethorical question not fishing or actual question.

i guess im not. this used to be better website.

This is a forum with GBA in it's name, despite being a general forum nowadays, it will always gravitate more towards Nintendo.
You may not like Nintendo games, that's your right. Constantly complaining about Nintendo games however and anything they do is just childish. I personally enjoyed the direct since there were plenty of games I was not expecting or did not know about.

People caring about Nintendo is not "sad". Sad is the constant negativity for no reason, if you do not like Nintendo, just ignore it and move on.

Not gonna lie I’ve played the demo on pc and the hacking was kinda really fun
I played the demo on NS2 and it was fun, but admittedly the teaser made the game look so much more exciting.

The "hacking" felt like playing snake on an old Nokia phone, yeah, that was fun.

Pragmata on Switch 2 looks rather blurry, but playable sure. I thought it was just Switch 1 games that were somewhat "blurry," but here we have a Switch 2 title and it's just like that.

Sorry to be the one to break this news to you; you're getting old. Simple as that. Maybe it's time to try and find a new hobby rather than stick at things that no longer make you happy.

Trying to force yourself to maintain an interest in the modern version of what you loved when you were younger carries a heavy risk of growing into a full time cynic.

Yeah I only specified even the PC part cause the mouse over the face buttons.

On the second half I wonder if it’s a over aggressive DLSS (or whatever the switch version is)
