This region seems to be biased for gym leaders.

I might go on a rant here about our region's lack of types:

-they never give me any badges when I defeat their leaders.
-they never give me any technical machines (TM's).
-they get upset when they lose (they are worse than Clair from pokemon gold/silver).
-they use stale and easy to counter strategies.
-it's as though they have zero experience.

But most dull of all:

-I keep encountering fighting-type gym leaders in the U.S.

Where are the psychic-type gyms around here? Or the grass-type gyms? I only see fighting-type gym leaders around the region. After a badly failed mega punch, take-down, submission, and quick attack from them, it gets very stale.

How about you all? Any fortune in your search for gyms that use types other than fighting? I could imagine that a flying type gym leader would battle differently.

I WANT TO BE THE VERY BEST!
To be fair, I started out as being an embarassment to it, as in, "he doesn't know where his hands and feet are".

I got very experimental with techniques and was called a fool for trying things, only for them to actually work. Sorta like how ash used a caterpie vs a pidgeotto.

Then I started to really figure out how to use basic ideas in new ways, which caused me to have no problems doing outside-of-the-box solutions on the spot.

So I basically went from "idiot"/"clumsy" to "tactical genius"/"how did you do that!?" according to people when it came to sparring.

I always liked it because there is no substitute for Ganas/A Good Attitude in there. If it does not work the first time you try it, practice it a thousand times so that it does.

I was an "idiot" for trying to punch out a grappler going in for a takedown, only for it to work.

A kid I know in real life was able to figure out better solutions than NASA scientists using the basics, so that is always how I approach things.
