Did anybody figure out the keyboard thing? My situation is the same as in I can't either connect to retroachievements or save a controller profile because of the impossibility of typing anything.

HELP!!!

I need write this to save the profile for input controller, because i changed to play Alien Trilogy very great, but in other games, the profile changed is same and unplayable, then i need reset to default input, but when back to Alien Trilogy, i need to reconfigure the input again... and vice-versa. It's very boring.

The problem is: this version don't able to show the keyboard on the screen to write a name and saving the custom profile. I tried using my USB wireless keyboard that works on my Switch, but inside DuckStation, not work. Nothing happens with this field, i tried all. I think this version not supoort keyboard or don't show the Switch's virtual keyboard. See the photo above:

I remember to have a similar issue, if by any chance you have it already configured on PC just transfer your config file into switch folder and it should work, but, before boot ducktation make sure to have internet already connected as well.

Oh yeah, I did that, but the error "Achievements error: Login failed: Invalid user/token combination." appears, I think it's because it is recognizing the PC as the "owner" of the file maybe...

I thought it would be better to configure in the Switch to not have that problem. I really wouldn't like to use Retroarch for personal preferences. I dislike the design and the bunch of configurations it has for all the cores it has gives me a headache...

Nope. Just go to RA's site revoke your key create a new one, then on PC log into your account as normal. close duckstation > grab your file and do the process again on switch. it should work.

RA = Retroachievements not Retrotrash lol.. please, read what i said and try again, I never said you need to do it on switch itself.

UPDATING TO NEW FIRMWARE 21.0.0 IS NOT RECOMMENDED. THERE ARE COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WITH A LOT OF HOMEBREW APPS.

UPDATED APPS for new firmware 21.0.0 (download the MODDED files if there is no official release for FW 21.0.0). USE the modded files with CAUTION. Not all modded apps have been tested.

Any update on the August 2024 compiled version of Duckstation? This NRO port is fantastic with just a few bugs here and there on some games, like Toshinden having double speed victory screens. Hopefully the August build brings in more stability. It already is super useful as it is.

I don't know how you got it to work. I'm on the same firmware, but newer atmosphere version. This port of duckstation loads, then gives me an error. It doesn't mater if I hold the R button or use a forwarder...
