I'm not sure which is worse here, the corrupt regime of Maduro, or the corrupt regime of Trump. Hopefully Venezuela is given back to it's people, not a regime.
It's basic policy to respect each country's sovereignty. This doesn't mean agreeing with what's being done there, but understanding no country has a literal right to invade another. When this happens, you usually have a little something called war - usually when it's neighbouring countries - or a foreign-endorsed coup d'etat.

Given the state of Venezuela, this was just a literal takeover. This is not really bringing democracy, this is tiranny. Other US regimes would've said this was about "saving" another country, but Trump isn't even trying to pretend. It's about oil, power, and sending an authoritarian message to the rest of Latin America.

The United States might pose itself as a saviour to the world, but that doesn't mean it is. You can lie about your real intentions. Time and time again foreign intervention from the US has brought either destruction and devastation or a military-supported dictatorship. I mean, Jesus Christ, just look at history. It's all there. The CIA itself admits to its interventions over the course of decades. It is unbelievably naive to think they're doing this for the good of the people. They're taking over. You don't bring peace bombing people's heads.

It was glaringly obvious that the oil was the end goal here.
Even Maduro himself was eyeing Guyana's territory for their oil.
However, the people of Venezuela should be very happy seeing Maduro out of his throne.

Let's see how this unfolds now.
I don't think Maduro legitimately won his election, but Trump unilaterally deciding he's now Venezuela's king is orders of magnitude more corrupt than that. This can only possibly make things more violent/chaotic, and I don't foresee a majority of Venezuelans accepting the US government's authority over them.

The US also completed a "side quest" while they were in Venezuela.

I'm not the least bit surprised..
Venezuela has proven oil reserves of 303.8 billion barrels, accounting for 17.9% of the world's total proven reserves, ranking first in the world.

I think they gaslight themselves because they're legit that stupid
I feel that’s thinking too shallow. People have been gaslight into calling themselves “woke,” believing this👌 is a White Nationalist symbol, and countless other stupid shit you see Liberals and Leftists falling for. It’s worth considering that this shit is an effort into gaslighting people to take on the position they are pushing. Effectively creating a self-fulling prophecy. It’s worth calling them out because it creates a timeline. If we start seeing accounts (mostly new ones) repeating the talking points, then we can be sure that someone is trying to make fiction into reality. We’ve seen this happen before, look for the patterns.

No I believe with this particular individual, they truly believe and fall for these straw men that they create.

Like the post above demonstrates this is just the behavior of a terminally online shut-in with no meaningful interpersonal relationships.

And I don't even feel bad for em.

the people that are here mad that Maduro was remove are calling other terminally online

You've yet to prove this and when called out you just respond with embarrassing images and social media nonsense.

That or you genuinely don't understand the definition of the word mad.

Either outcome reflects poorly on your character and intellect.

Also funny that in a videogame forum, in 3 months of activity and 66 comments, only a single one is videogame adjacent. Do you even play or do like to separate your fun from your job?

This user is a waste of everyone's time. They are not here to debate, only to gaslight and enrage others. Best to just ignore them.
