Okay just found out a lot of the sites do have the files and are purposely holding them until the 4th, that's insane!

Never heard of such thing, I even visited one site, it had a countdown clock in place of the link! So they definitely already have it.

Another site said the game is 28.9gb, not sure if that's true or not, but according to his images, on the DBI that's what it says.

So these guys are really respecting the Metroid Release date, so we'd all be wrong on the poll, it will be 0 days.

Lets say that other sites with no reason to be moral about it do not have it either. I think Nintendo kept this locked up pretty tight. Doesn't matter once the clock hits midnight in New Zealand in 13 or so hours.

Average review is 1 point above Other M and 5 points below Hunters for DS usually 8.1 is a good average but the standards for Metroid Prime games are very high.

Review Scores, mean nothing now-a-days! Everyone's a f..king critic!

People who don't even play these type of games, or even know their history always has an opinion.

My main issue is a lot of reviews are paid now and not very genuine at all.

It's about your own time with the game, not what others think, and with the Metroid series, fans of it, are going to buy this game even if it got a 2 out of 10. Because they've waited so many years for it.

Not to mention, it's just like the Pokémon games, last few in the series have been mediocre and trash all together on some, and yet it sold millions.

When we let fabricated numbers, make our decisions for us, then the gaming industry really is lost.

My personal opinion just from the gameplay I've seen, they keep talking about resolutions and frames per second as a selling tool.

Which is something in 2025 shouldn't even be a topic on the outdated graphics and art that it's producing, but rather than admit the system is underpowered, they sacrificed graphics and focus on frames and resolutions.

For me I've waited too long between Prime 3 to Prime 4 to get a 20% increase in visuals with the same gameplay mechanics after 18 years!

But I'm still getting it, because I love Samus and the entire series, and yes I'm part of the problem too, but who knows we may not get a Prime 5 at all, or delay till 2043! lol

I haven't updated my Switch in over a year and I think I'm on 18.1. I might just update to 19 and not newest because I think this is the last Switch game for me ever.

I have 20.0.5 so I will test soon. That would not be a pain to update to either if it came down to it. 21 screws up a lot of homebrew/tweaks so I'm definitely planning on avoiding that.
