The Panasonic Q is my dream console. Would love to own one, but it's prohibitually expensive at the minute.

$199, gets you the console with 1 controller. It's opensource hardware and software, so it will get cores ported to it like the MiSTer. Talk about value!

Nearly 300$CDN. Pricy still but less pricy than the Analogue 3D.

With the included controller I'd have four controllers total, as long as the ED64 2.5 works on it? I'd be set!

Now all I need is a cheaper SNES FPGA solution, PPUs dying left and right or suffering from bit rotting.

@shaunj66 - get yourself to a boot sale.... Nostalgia Nerd on YT grabbbed one with 2 controllers and sonic 1 for 30 quid not so long ago

An FPGA SNES clone that's not super expensive. I know this is about retro consoles but SNES are dying left and right, mine included as the only game that boots on it is Super Mario World, anything else is a black screen, corrupted sound effects or music plays but nothing shows on screen.

My Analog Pocket & TV adapter are great for SNES though not exactly cheap. Mister Pi is also pretty cheap though don't think anyone has made a direct SNES cartridge reader, though I'm sure it's possible. You can use original controllers fairly simply though if you like.

I would also love a Vectrex, not crazy expensive in Europe but again, tough to maintain. There's a official Mini version for 100 Euros on Kickstarter which is tempting but I have no nostalgia for it so without the special screen, that OLED is gonna have to do a lot of heavy lifting.

Yep, a more fleshed-out and correct N64 core, forked from the MiSTer. So about 90% of the work was already done for Robert.

In 2019 found 2 NES Mini for $700 MXN at Walmart, but the SNES Mini it's been around $10,000 MXN since debut until now!

Around 2023 found a guy selling SNES Mini for $1500 and, well... was going to buy one but when I asked if they were the real deal, seller replied: "Yes real hahaha".

I had Tetris, but the watch gobbled a whole CR2032 within two weeks.... That's absurd, and impractical to use as a daily driver.

Please tell me that's in Pesos, because I still see them up here in North America for about retail price of $80 or so.
