hey whats up. im new to these CFW thing and still researching whether to start 'ayay captain' or no(100% yes lol). considering mine just updated to OFW 21.0, does the latest cfw works well?

most of the hb apps have been updated the issues i have are with emuiibo it does not work with breath of the wild when launching this game with it active the game freezes on loading a save the other issues that happened were because of linkhalo not working correctly i previously used it and when i updated i got what is called the please wait loop so if you have never used linkhalo you wont have this problem but make sure you create your emmunand from a sysnand that has an autheniticly connected nintendo account the last issue was that tombraider definitive edition was not working but the fix will be released in the next atmosphere release very soon

im planning to enjoy all the games first before making any advanced tweaks on my console. using hacks or amiibo/emuiibo etc can wait.

i dont know where you live but i have a guy in texas i can recommend he fixed one of my switches from a preiviously failed install and modded my other he is really good i dont think it matters other than if you have an oled if you do have an oled you can use rp2040 picofl;y or nx instinct v6s these both work really well however i would research on if you want to use the kamikaze method of install or the regular adapter which slides under the emmumc for the dat 0 zero connection alot of people like the kamikaze method because it gives direct access to the dat 0 however if you dont know what you are doing it is easy to permanently damage your system as i said though my guy is really good he know how to use this method you can look him up on youtube he goes by wayayeo he aslo has a website that lists his number so you can call and setup your install remember though he only does hardware you will have to setup the software for your install the difference between the dat 0 adapter and kamikaze is that the dat 0 adapter has a high failure rate well the kamikaze when done correctly does not fail at all

If you don't know what you're doing with an OLED, you'll not install the dat0 adapter correctly and it will eventually fail. A professional installer will be able to do either without either eventually failing.

this is true i chose not to go with the kamikaze due to the risk if the dat 0 fails it can be replaced if kamikaze install goes wrong your system is toast since ive had my systems i noly had to have one fixed because of previouse install fail which was not on my guy in texas the guy that did that also setup my software and got himself canned from etsy but my guy in texas only does hardware he is the one that fix the previouse guys mess and i still went with dat 0 adapter and as you have said if it done right your good to go the issue with mine was likely because i dropped it and it disloged the adapter but im not sure any ways when i sent it to my guy i had him upgrade my mod chip from the insinct nx6 to the nx5s i still have the nx6 in my file drwares i dont know what ill do with it but who knows any ways i was just trying to explain the difference between the two methods and i saw alot of dat 0 failure hence the reason i stated it had a high failure rate but you are correct i was not taking into consideration that those all caould have been due to falty installs but id still worry about dropping the console with the dat 0 adapter just cuz if installer did not solder the bridge point and just left it as a friction hold it could come out which i think is what happened in my case
