I found a Strange Bug:
I could start Mario Galaxy, turned thr Switch into Stand-by, because i had to do some stuff. After turning the Switch again on, i couldnt start any Games. They Just remain in the Loop of starting

I built the last commit of sys-patch and it definitely works
Does this work with 21.0.0? I have a switch with version 21.0.0, chip is soldered. Which files should I add to make games work from scratch? I am so new, sorry if my question sounds dumb. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone, I have a issue, with my main profile, game are not starting at all, I have joycon message and then "The software was closed because an error occured.". But in the meantime, I'm able to start the game with another profile, do you have any idea ? Many thanks

For testing purposes, I did the following:

1. Prepared a new SD Card:

  • Copied the latest Atmosphere
  • Copied the latest Hekate
  • Added FW 21.0.0 files
  • Added Sys-patch with ES fix (from previous post)
  • Added nxovloader, ovlmenu, ovlsysmodules
  • Added Atmosphere hosts files to block Nintendo servers
2. System Info:
  • My SYS MMC is on 17.0.1 and never updated (I don’t use it since I have other Switches to go online).
3. Setup:
  • Created a new emuMMC from SYS (file-based) for testing.
  • Booted to Atmosphere.
  • Always in airplane mode.
4. Upgrade Process:
  • Upgraded to 21.0.0 on emuMMC using Daybreak.
  • Rebooted.
  • Enabled Sys-patch for emuMMC & rebooted again.
  • Checked logs: all is patched.
5. Game Installation:
  • Got Awoo Installer & Sphaira (recompiled).
  • [Awoo] Installed Silksong + update (NSP) → Instant launch
  • [Awoo] Installed BALL x PIT (NSP) → Instant launch
  • [Sphaira] Installed Monument Valley Trilogy (from physical gamecard) → Instant launch
Conclusion: Everything seems to work. Since this is a fresh install, I can’t test if games installed with unstable/incomplete sys-patches or previously installed games work.

Result of my testing from the last hour :)

PS:
All installed & tested games are from my legit owned copies (NSP or gamecard, so their contents are unaltered & 100% original files).

Fixed the problem: I turned airplane mode on. Now i can start all games normally.

Hello everyone , I can finally install a game with awoo installer, but now it says that I don't have the real card of the game.
So I cannot play the game. Someone with the same issue?
Do I need to reinstall everything from the beginning ( hekate , fusee, sigpatches)?
Thanks

Hi all, the latest update for syspatch works wonders. Thanks, appreciate it!

For the record, I tried checking to see if I had the option to disable "Online License Check", but I don't think I ever linked my account with any NNID, so I didn't see any option like that.

Regardless, I was going to report back about the "Please wait" popup looping, I think it's related to Linkalho. I remember setting it up once ages ago, and as part of the "clean install" I did for FW 21, I had to remove it while we wait for it to be updated. Either creating a new profile, or setting your switch on airplane mode, work to get around the popup looping.

This also appears to have now been identified in the syspatch thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/sys-patch-sysmod-that-patches-on-boot.633517/post-10767917

The question is whether that is being maintained at all, and where. I think it was one of those repos taken down by the big N on Github? Or maybe just an assumption as it gives me a 404 when Googling. I guess we'll see. But for now, for the games that don't require this, I can finally hand over the switch to the little one, and I will finally get some work done :)

What if its NOT legit installed games? Will this still work either way? I did a fresh emuMMC yesterday. Should I just backup all my files on the sd, delete them, then just drag and drop these ???
