Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

@Sonic2025 how did you get it to work with Atmosphere 1.9.5 without getting the red error when booting CFW SYS from Hekate?

I used: TegraRcmGUI + Fusee.bin for the Switch-Hack (no Hekate)

=> after the Boot: Everthing looks fine for the first moment
=> I can use Checkpoint and FTPD
=> Just when i want to go back to the SWITCH-MAIN-MENU from FTPD, than it crashes (but no red Error-Code), and i have to restart the Switch => But than everything is OK again (and the File-Change i made with FTPD is also saved)

@Sonic2025 i don't use PC but smartphone with Rekado

SciresM tell about this problem look on my previous post, most Homebrew will have a error on close of homebrew, JKSV works fine until you close it. on the Atmosphère release page is the explanation about the reason for that error.

Yeah it has killed a few things so far like JKSV, Breeze, Checkpoint etc...

so that means that, even though atmosphere has been updated, i still can't do anything with my switch?

cause i use breeze, jksv, simple mod manager, ftp, and nxthemes the most

You need to update your PATCHES.INI file to include the patches for latest firmware; or remove the line kip1patch=nosigchk from the hekate_ipl.ini file.

whenever I try to launch a game with the new atmosphere fw released, i am getting, "unable to start software. Return to the home menu and try again" but it is loaded correctly because when i go to album, i have my menu showing up such as edizon, goldleaf, etc - anyone else having this issue?

Yeah, everyone, that is why you should wait UNTIL ALL HOMEBREW GET UPGRADED BEFORE upgrade your console. so now you need to wait all homebrew to be upgraded AND THEN UPGRADE IT ON YOUR CONSOLE.

aaahh gotcha - makes sense - would you know what homebrew that would be? I usually just use DBI to install the games and then boot

Well dbi is definitely not currently working, jksv, checkpoint, breeze, tinwoo. Tinfoil etc... anything that most likely wont work will have a red text stating it may be incompatible.

since i used DBI to install the games, I assume I will have to wait for that to get updated to run the games I currently have installed then?

what homebrew that would be?

not only the installation homebrew (DBI, Goldleaft, etc.) , normally this probems are related to sys-modules which need to be upgraded. if your game is already installed normally do not need to install again.

Games should play regardless of how they are installed.
All my games work fine.

Sure I can avoid upgrades, but out of curiosity, does this problem with homebrew happen when running the just released atmosphere, but on previous firmware (20)?

NYX settings are the settings of NYX (ha ha ha I know) NYX is the Graphical interface part of Hekate.

On those you can save, the accent color of the interface, the color of the background, which screen is shown at NYX startup and some hardware adjustments. One of the settings is the offset of your RTC (real time clock) hardware with the display time and that is why if you do not have it setup, you are ask for the current (user) time in order to display the correct time on the interface.
