Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed again, to November 2026

Another delay has come for Grand Theft Auto VI. Originally slated for release sometime in 2025, it was eventually pushed back to May 2026, and now, has been further kicked down the road to its new release date of November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games cites needing some extra time to polish up the game as the reason behind the delay.

Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

I hope it gets delayed until the """NeXtGeN""" (lol).

I just want it to be good and without major bugs.
I could not care less for the multiplayer part so if it iss as good as GTA5 was (story etc...) R* will have my hard earned money.

Release soon, after One Piece ending.
Wait One Piece is still going ??? :o I got bored with it back when it was near the 250th episode.

OOOOHHHH FUCK NO, IF GTA 6 RELEASES IN FALL NEXT YEAR, WOLVERINE OUGHTA GET DELAYED TOO

AIN'T NO WAY IT CAN COMPETE WITH THIS 😭
If GTA6 really did release at a $100 price point, Wolverine would still sell plenty launching at $60-$70. It's targeting a slightly different audience, after all, and if it runs at 60 FPS on base PS5 that'd be a huge advantage.

How much did they say they wanted to price it at launch? 150$ right?
Well, if it's delayed to November 2026, expect it to launch at 200$ (MINIMUM!)

Both are violent video games + the demand for GTA 6 is waayyy bigger than Wolverine, it was only popular because we had one teaser from 2018 or something and that's that

Would be hilarious, but nah given how the economy's trending I'd say the max they'll go is $100 for the base edition, obviously more for any current/future extra content. Even that's an insane enough price point.

Hard disagree. That's the entire Marvel fanbase from the 90s onward interested, which has some overlap with the GTA fanbase, but not total overlap. Plus we did get a gameplay trailer which was fucking amazing:

For my part I'd rather buy that on PS5 at $60 right away and just wait on GTA6 cheaper for PC.

They are delaying the game to add microtransactions and season passes. They spent 2 billion dollars on the game so far, they have to make that money back somehow and the base game price won't cut it. Mark my words. :teach:

It's gonna be so good and frustrating at the same time. I can't even imagine the cost of the micro transactions. It's gonna blow.

for how big this game is supposed to be given from the trailers i've watched, i am not shocked that the game needs more developnment time for it to come out. I did hear that they've laid off a bunch of employees recently, so I wonder what happened w/ that.

The only GTA games I've played was V and Online, and I shelved it because that really isn't the kind of game I would be playing. Now if someone made a mod for the PC version that made the game a lot more relaxing and had less people doing stupid stuff for when I just want to vibe (despite the crimimalistic nature of the game I just want to drive)l, then I would get into the game more.

I think they'll make that a bigger part of its online component, but I'm not sure that'll launch with the base game.

Both are gonna be masterpieces, but which is more anticipated?

This one is actually subjective
