Hello, friends!
I am unsure of what the cause was that made my Switch Lite develop a black screen (after that 20's looking TV filter), but I'll try to be the most descriptive as possible.
I purchased the modchip and went ahead and opened the case, removing the flat cable and battery connector.
I then realised how small things are and almost immediately noped out of the effort. My sight ain't that good, nor my skill for that matter.
Reassembled the console, and I *think* I might have inserted the flat cable wrongly as I noticed the smallest spec of magic smoke from the flat cable connector. Weird place to see smoke but I almost believe it might have been there.
The console works, as the digitizer and sound play, and I can click/move around the interface.
I've reordered a couple of flat cables and, of course replaced it, but no success.
Does anyone know the troubleshooting process for this?
No soldering was involved, so no component/pad ripped of, but there might be a component that failed, and I don't know where to look, and what values to expect with the multimeter.
I've been suggested a video from a guy making a similar(?) repair, but I was not convinced that he was actually successful.
Thanks.
