May it be possible to merge the latest batch of circle-pad patches with the latest release of DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheats Database released a few days ago?

Is there a way to port the MPH code so that it can be used in the Korean version of the game?

Have you tried just copy/pasting the code for the US version into an entry for the Korean version? Normally stuff like the code for controls and the like doesn't vary much between regions IIRC.

Yes, I tried it, and additionally, I compared the US version, the Europe version, and the JP version codes, and the code is almost the same, but the last few lines are different. I expected that this difference would determine the application by region, but I don't know how to modify this code to apply it to the Korean version.

I was wondering has anyone tried Tak Great Juju Challenge?

Ive had success with all circle pad patches for both zeldas, metroid, mario 64 ds, okamiden, cop
except
I cant get Tak Juju Challenge working.

I have tried to play Tak on two different new 3ds LL
but both get this crash screen after the 3d models animate before the start screen.

edit: I have only tried the USA version on both systems
all my games are USA

update: now I tried the Europe version of Tak Juju Challenge and its working fine without crashing
well I will just stick with that version for now

I know that this is an old thread and I apologise if this has been discussed before.
When playing a game like Super Mario 64 DS on an old 3DS with the Circle Pad patch and the key remapper, is there a way to use the C-stick patch's ability to control the camera by connecting the Circle Pad Pro?

Is a DS game not a 3DS one so no since the DS doesn't have that button.

IIRC they don’t show up as the same device and would need different code writing. Someone offered to send Shoco a CPP (& O3DS?) to develop on, but I’m not sure if this went anywhere.

The problem with using these codes in a DS emulator is that the emulator is emulating a DS, not a 3DS in DS mode. The emulator doesn't know what a Circle Pad is, and can't detect analog sticks in the same way that a 3DS can. You can set the stick to work as a D-Pad, but then you're limited to it working as a digital input, not an analog input. IIRC earlier in the thread there was mention of someone who was working on adding a (nonexistent in the physical world) Slot2 analog stick device to a DS emulator that worked in a similar fashion to the 3DS' Circle Pad in order to enable this type of thing, but I don't know if it went anywhere.

You can however turn those use the touchscreen games into games that use buttons for a lot of DS games, and the DS does have those buttons.

Yeah, most notably there are codes for Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks that add button controls to the games, but that's not really what we're talking about here.

Can someone help me with the SM64DS Remap AR Code Generator?
I want ZL and ZR to be the L and R buttons but reverse so that crouch is left and center camera is right and L and R are untouched
but the code that gets generated with SM64DS Remap AR Code Generator does not work.
I use the Pal version btw and i know codes are working bc the premade code works just fine but is has camera left and right mapped to ZL and ZR.
Here's a comparison of the codes btw. They're completly different for some reason and my code is way shorter.

I have another question.
Is it possible to add a shortcut to the 3DS Home Menu of SM64DS which automatically starts with the Widescreen Patch and New 3DS Controls?
I don't want to load the TwillightMenu every time to play 64 DS.

Does anyone know how to remap the touchpad camera movement to the cpad? Or how to get smooth cpad movement? I hope I'm not just missing something in the Key Remapper.

The Windows version of DeSmuME does support reading controller inputs in Lua using the "controller.get(id)" function, with id being optional. Axes are x, y, u, r, and z. Dpad is up, down, left right. Buttons are accessed as keys "1", "2", and so on.

I stumbled across this thread and decided myself to see how difficult it would be to use these in DeSmuME and it was shockingly simple. Just had to modify the python AR generator code to comment out any arm7 stuff and write up a super simple Lua script to place controller data at the right address.

Really neat patches you have here.

Could you go into more detail about how to convert them for use in DeSmuME?

I have a problem with metroid. Using the standard cheat everything works fine but when I try and use the alternate cheat, none of the bots move. They all stand still. The controls work great but none of them can move.

i tried tried the the dat. file in the first page but it wouldn't work with european game dumps, is there a dat file that works with those games or at least the direct download links with the known eu games that already have patches
