Hi,

I ran into an issue using Ryubing while playing Pokemon Legends Z-A. I played for hours and got to rank E and got off and closed the game after I manually saved it. I loaded it back up this morning and it's saying "Save data on your system couldn't be recognized.". Does anyone know if I can recover my save file or how to prevent this in the future? Does anyone have a save file near where I was at? Thank you guys.

You can try eden to see if you can retrieve your data, someone in the cheat thread mentioned to try eden for corrupted data.

I appreciate the advice, I saw that reply as well but unfortunately it didn't work. For some reason my save file seems completely blank

The same happened to me after the PC died... Now I'm looking for that generous save file, lol.

use this:
python "C:\Users\brian\Desktop\plza-recovery\main.py" "C:\Users\brian\Desktop\Ehpic - 2025-10-17_11-50-41\main"
thanks for the tip and sorry for the late reply, but i got another error. must be doing something wrong clealry.

what im doing exactly is finding the recovery main.py file and dragging it to the cmd to show where the path is and again to where my main file path is as well. is that wrong to do or do i have to manually write it all out?

EDIT: I figured it out! like a dumbass i was prompting python by itself then doing the paths lol, you have to literally type python and the paths on the same line {facepalm} life is so much better when you actually get some sleep.
