Sorry for the long wait, but the Just Dance 2014 custom update files are OUT NOW! Keep the party going with these brand new changes:
- Regional maps have been added. "Safe And Sound" is now playable on the PAL version and "Alfonso Signorigni (eroe nazionale)" and "Danse (Pop version)" have been added to NTSC.
- Explore the menu to discover the new maps that have been added, they're so good! Bust down on the floor to songs you've all wanted, maybe you'll even get lucky and discover something special, don't miss your chance!
- To compensate for the long wait, I've added "Brand New Start" by Anja, now available in all regions!
From the Drive link, you will need Bundle_5_WIIU.ipk, Bundle_6_WIIU.ipk, Patch_WIIU.ipk and secure_Fat.gf for your region.


Due to the way the JD engine works, I cannot unlock previously locked routines on an already existing save. The game initially checks which routines are locked and which are unlocked and writes them in your save. You can copy only the patch and they should be able to be unlockable in your original save.

I deleted via the wiiu settings. And pass the files from patch before erase the save.

if you have the jd14 tools by JackLSummer15, you will need to replace the skuscene_maps file in the patch_wiiu,ipk that contains all maps of the game except those.


You can use this tutorial but instead of adding maps, you remove them.

I actually did consider adding these, except they had so many issues while playtesting I gave up lol (at least based on the way I modded them), it IS possible to add them but they will need extra effort (which requires extra time that I currently don't have, but maybe in the future after I'm done with the essential patches I'll go back to this one)

Hi, do you know if adding the ipk files even if the game is physical will work ? when I saw the "content" folder of the game i saw those ipks but how is it even possible ? aren't files on the disk ?

Thanks, but the tutorial you linked me never actually does anything with patch_WIIU (or in his case patch_WII), instead he unpacks bundlelogic and uses a tool to generate skuscene_maps_pc_all.isc.ckd that isn't even present in your mod. The only similar file that I could find in your mod is gameconfig.isg.ckd inside patch_WIIU, it's full of unreadable characters but I can see it has the codenames for all the songs you added (chasethechance, letmefeelya etc.) do I have to somehow decrypt that and remove the codenames?

2. replacing covers with originals is possible but I just don't wanna do it (because then I'd also have to edit the censors that were present in the lyrics)

Hey I checked the songs that were covered for 2014 and 2015 (my personal preferences), and none of them have censorship from what I am looking at on the just dance wiki. I understand you said you didn't want to do it, but I just want to say it if that would make it easier if you do ever reconsider.

Ok i figured out how to remove songs, but now i wanna add WakingUp from the USA version of JD14 and i can't find the songdesc in the files

Love it !!! But the MSMs for Chase the Chance, I think they are really not accurate where did you get them ?
