The animal Crossing island is basically a bunch of files saved on your Switch. Take a look at the folder you downloaded, the one that contains the new island, and look at the files it contains. Those will be the same files that you must replace with the original ones from your island. Since you've hacked your console, you can use JKSV to grab those files and copy them to your SD card.
Once you have your backup, all you do is open that folder on your computer, and inside are the files that actually make up your island (main.dat, villager.dat, etc.). If you want to add another island, simply replace those files with the files from the new island you downloaded.
After that, insert the SD card back into the Switch, open JKSV again, and this time choose Restore.
The only caveat is that if you play online, Nintendo can tell that the save isn't your real one, so it's best to keep it offline or with emuNAND. But in short: make a copy → change files → restore → and voila, new island.

I know this might be an odd question, but whenever I move all the data from the island to my game, it never moves any of the pattern tiles onto the ground for me, like it moves all the building and stuff, but there will still be a weird hole in my lake where residents are just walking around where the old resident hall was at. Does all islands that we copy and paste over through NSHE not transfer the realistic patterns on the floors or the residential services, or am I trash and doing it wrong lol? I also noticed that this island has other players houses there, is there anyway to get rid of them? Thanks ahead of time for any help Sour! Or anyone that can answer
Hi @xPoyo Could you please dump these for me? I tried to do it on my own, but I can't get it to work, and I I'm going to do something wrong and get banned. Thank you very much!!

You also need to copy the placed design choices with NHSE.
I had written out what you can copy from the map:
Go to Map - Edit map - Edit field items.
Dump/Import - Dump all acres
Buildings:
Dump/Import Buildings
Write down the Plaza X & Y location coordinates and put them in your save file
Delete additional/ add Player houses, depending on your save file
Terrain:
Dump/Import - Dump all acres
Modify All - Import/Export all Placed Design Choices
Acres:
Dump/Import - Dump Map Acres
Exit the Field Items editor
Open the Pattern Editor
Dump/Import - Dump all Designs
Message Box should appear asking for file indexing - click yes
Close the Pattern Editor
Open the Pattern Pro Editor
do the same as above
If you don't have the same amount of players and villagers as the dream, then you need to manually add/remove them, unless you wanna copy the villagers too.
Please check if dreams are online still before requesting them...
