i seen its possible to use only bottom screen when operate twilight menu. Would be possible to only use upper screen? i have one ds, with broken lower screen, and i would like to play only gb, gbc and gba on it...

Hey team. A full eng patch of IE3: Ogre recently released (link here). https://www.reddit.com/r/inazumaeleven/comments/1mqbz28/inazuma_eleven_3_full_eng_patch/

Unfortunately I get the a white screen freeze due to the AP whenever I wrap up the intro. Existing AP fixes in twilight menu currently do not seem to work.

Might anyone know of any fixes? I’ve been looking into possibly hex editing to fix but figured twilight may have a fix embedded.

Thanks

You'll have to wait until nds-bootstrap includes a fix.

Happens whenever i wanna take a screenshot; on nds bootstrap 2.4.0

Running the latest v27.16.0: 4th of July Release on my DSi with Twilight Menu DSi (modded the dsi).

I cant run Pokemon white on DSI mode since it just gets stuck on white screen, going into ds mode works though.
is it a known bug?

It works without issues on my 3ds

Where is the game being launched from? A flashcard or the DSi's SD card?

Hello,

Maybe someone could help me.
I have an issue with Warioware D.I.Y on DSI xl;
It's possible to play 2 - 3 minutes but after a loading, the game crash and go back to Twilight Menu++.

Please find the logs.

Thank you :)

v27.17.0
Includes nds-bootstrap v2.8.0 (GBATemp thread)

What's new?

  • DSi: Added support for booting via ntrboot (ntrboot.nds is now included)!
  • Rocket Video Player is now bundled within the Multimedia add-on!
  • R4xMP flashcards use the Ace3DS+ autoboot files and the R4iLS flashcard loader files.
  • To add clarification, the Screen Filter setting has been renamed to Screen Color Filter.
  • DS(i) splash screen easter eggs can now be disabled in order to keep a stock booting experience regardless of the date.
  • @korbosoft: For the Virtual Boy easter egg version of the TWLMenu++ splash screen, the jingle now plays as if it were coming from a Virtual Boy console!
  • @R-YaTian: Widescreen patches are now applied to some modified ROMs.
  • @PlantedWave5190: Added ESRB rating for these games:
    • Chibi-Robo! Park Patrol
    • Disgaea DS
    • The Simpsons Game
    • WarioWare: D.I.Y. (Online notice included)
  • Me & @Pk11: Updated the description for the Save Relocation setting.
  • Which DSi/3DS UI music is now written in the log (if enabled).
  • Various: Updated translations.

Bug fix

  • Fixed a long-standing bug which caused save data to be created with the wrong size for some games (ex. European version of WarioWare: D.I.Y.).
Post automatically merged:

v27.17.1 (hotfix)
Includes nds-bootstrap v2.8.1

Bug fix

  • Fixed an overlooked bug which caused TWLMenu++ to not boot with a DSi exploit such as Memory Pit, along with Slot-1 microSD access (when running from DSi/3DS SD Card) not working.

@RocketRobz I'm blown away that there's continuing support for this. The work you've done preserving this incredible library is a relevant event in gaming history; I'm being completely genuine about that. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I also have a question. I was playing SNES9x the other day and was thinking about how the 3DS slider "activates" a slightly crisper image. Almost like a fake upscale, probably related to the top screen's crazy resolution to accommodate 3D. I don't really know.

But I was wondering if that could potentially be patched into Twilight Menu too? Maybe not, since it's on the DSi side. I was just thinking about it since literally the only thing we're missing is SOME way to get DS to scale a little better, especially on N3DSXL. But I'm sure there's a good reason.

Anyway. Thanks again for all your efforts!

That would require patching TWL_FIRM, which is out of my scope.

Ah, I see. That makes sense!

Okay, I had another idea though. What about adding a DS Lite system border to NDS games when played in native resolution, similar to what VC Gameboy and Game Gear games have?

Doesn't have to be 3D, but I bet it would make native resolution feel a lot less tiny, especially on a N3DS XL! What do you think?

DANG. Well thanks anyway!

I'm so OCD about the scaling; I'm just trying to find a way to enjoy it, haha. Other than getting a DSiXL 😅

I have TWL Patcher, but I can never decide which filter looks good or better than the default. Are there settings on there that you use and prefer?

I just use the default scaling, as I personally don't mind it.
