I think you should make the game using the demo data.win. That way, you can just give the .nds file and the game will be more accessible to people experiencing Undertale for only the 1st time, or just people who can't work the file patcher(me).

I've made the video how to compile the data to .nds file. You can use it for reference. I used windows 10 with Devkitpro installed.

Just turn off your antivirus, it's safe AFAIK or add it to whitelist.
