... although, trees are notorious for growing back kinda slowly. So if there's a logging operation that goes at a speed faster than one guy with a handsaw, there will in fact be less woodland after they start cutting down the woodlands.
... also, they won't grow back if the land gets used for anything else, which it tends to do unless it has protections like the ones that just got removed.
... also, probably not going to grow back to how they were before, even in the long term, because ecosystems have a limited ability to handle change and cutting down large swathes of habitat is kind of a big change.
but other than that, yeah, solved. So glad there's a simple easily digestible answer to everything. Wait until the Amazon rainforest gang hear about this one weird trick.
