I’m going to disagree with you 100% on this given the last decade in the US (I don't know if you even live here) and since I doubt one of us will nudge the other in any meaningful direction I'll simply agree to disagree.
I’ll shake on that since I believe any comparison to NSDAP of any existing party in the United States is stupid and tone deaf. I grew up about an hour train ride away from the nearest smoke stack, just for the record - please get back to me when American politicians start loading people up into dedicated ovens after suffocating them in delousing agent. All of this stupid Nazi shit really cheapens the word in my eyes - it sounds apt to you because you were born far away from it, it happened on my doorstep. There’s a bunch of individual Nazi cosplayer edgelords, that we can agree on. There is no organised Nazi movement with any significant political sway. They exist on the fringes and should be ridiculed because that’s the only kind of attention they deserve - they’re clowns.

Let’s be absolutely clear.

Fascism and nazism have no place on this forum. We will not tolerate hateful ideologies rooted in supremacy, violence, and the dehumanization of others. If you identify with or promote fascist or nazi views, you are not welcome here. This community will not be a safe haven for intolerance, hate speech, or historical revisionism that seeks to minimize or justify the atrocities committed under these ideologies.

This is not up for debate.

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences, and it does not give you the right to poison this space with dangerous rhetoric. There is no “just a different opinion” when that opinion denies the humanity of others or seeks to revive ideologies responsible for some of the worst crimes in human history.

We are committed to fostering a space that is open, diverse, and respectful. That means:
  • No displaying of fascist or nazi symbols, slogans, or sentiments
  • No support for authoritarianism, racial supremacy, or hate groups
  • No coded language or dog whistles meant to disguise extremist ideologies
  • No glorification of regimes or figures associated with fascism or nazism
Additionally:
  • Stay civil and open-minded when engaging with others, especially when they come from different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, or life experiences. You do not have to agree with everyone, but you must treat others with basic human decency.
  • This is a diverse community. And that diversity is a strength, not a threat.
We are drawing a line. If you find yourself on the wrong side of it, you are free to leave—or you will be removed.

First offenders will be given an immediate 7-days suspension (I am looking at you "bobbytomorow") and subsequent offenses will result in a permanent ban.
If you do not agree with this, you are invited to leave this place immediately.
why no far left only far right? a general question i find both bad

I don't trust lions (and I broke one in a prophetic dream).

That said, I spoke with someone who had a _lot_ to drink, and he said he would one hundred percent support the Nazis if he lived back then; he knew I am of Israel. This doesn't surprise me anymore in this world.

No support for authoritarianism
The authoritarian Left is already covered. Although I have to ask what you mean by "far-Left?" Because it seems like most people consider basic center to center-left as "far-Left" these days

Well it's a very false equivalency which has already been debunked.

They should be ridiculed yes, but instead they're embraced by MAGA, which works to amplify their derangement a hundred fold and indoctrinate vulnerable teens and pre-teens who have yet to establish a solid political/ethical identity of their own. The far right is not content to take over just one or two spaces online, they want control over all of them, because that's the very nature of authoritarian ideology. No dissenting thought or individualism allowed, Donald Trump and Steven Miller obviously know how you should live your life better than you do.

No, not just like that. Individuals have their own individual reasons for protesting and taking action. The right believes that all protest and freedom of speech/expression should be eliminated through violent means.

If your comment was meant to be in good faith I apologize, I've just seen too many similar ones that were facetious/sarcastic. I do think there are limits to what peaceful protest can accomplish, but at the same time it is important to guard against gradually becoming the very thing you're against. Dems and progressives have done a good job not reacting to most of the right's antagonist tactics.

Oh, please. Don’t pull the “cancel culture” card in this context, it’s making you look very silly. You’re not 5 years old, we both grew up on an Internet that consisted primarily of loud modem beeps and slurs. If anything, the current push is to *desanitise* it again - the pendulum always swings right back. If you think Gen Z kids are honest to God Nazis, you’re a goofball. They’re acting out on the web because it pisses off the right people in their mind, and (spoilers) it does. Please try to talk for five minutes without sounding like a victim, the whole “invading spaces” discourse is stupid. Progressives don’t get to claim ownership of the Internet as a whole.

The internet when we grew up was far more decentralized, it was easy for everybody to find their own niche and avoid dipshit edgelords trying to label everything outside of their comfort zone as "woke." Now that there are a total of about ten prominent websites, it's instead easy for governments and corporate interests to control/manipulate the flow of information, and the brainless masses parrot the same narratives pushed by bot farms. Like I said, these kids haven't established a permanent political identity of their own yet, but if they are being raised by social media 90% of the time, they never stood a chance to begin with. I'm not personally a victim, but we all suffer the consequences of brain drain on such a large scale.

i agree with you but most of the internet is left wing propaganda if it wasn't for twitter being bought then there be no conservative views and actually quite surprised i have not been banned or suspended for my view on this site which it quite great. i have been banned from reddit, twitter before elon,Facebook, youtube, for my views. so if anything it a liberal internet and if my feeling are hurt ban him.

The people *you* support did that for the reasons *you* listed, and they keep propping up online oligopolies that make it untenable to build any sort of alternative infrastructure (via debanking, among other things). I’m afraid that progressives made their own bed and now they’re going to have to learn how to use a Block button or how to close a tab when they get upset. The Internet is for everyone, including people you don’t like interacting with - you don’t have to interact with them if you don’t want to. You’re more than welcome to be a part of a more closed community (like ours here) that is more selective about membership.

Hmm... what about those certain users who scream and type "HURR DURR UR FASCIST!", even though you're not one?
Please show me one particular individual that used that exact wording and I'll politely ask the mods if they can help you.

That being said, if you find yourself falsely accused of being whatever you don't like to hear, you may want to try and find a particular phrase you said that could be misinterpreted and then deescalate based on that knowledge. That usually works for me in those very rare instances in which I am called things by strangers on the Internet.

What usually doesn't work is acting offended or asking already answered questions that make people look like they were going around starting sentences with "HURR DURR"... I think the OP called this "human decency". So, in case you still value my advice at this point: Politeness is key.

Why should anyone enact that kind of labour? I was led to believe that if I identify as something other than what the observer sees then it’s on the observer to accept my reality and reject their own. Sounds like a “you” problem if you see Nazis and Fascists everywhere, no?
