@petspeed in the previous firmware don't have the problem of battery drain,maybe depend on apps,themes or others things installed in the console.

On my Switch, I have Hekate, Atmosphere, Sys-patch, Breeze, JKSV, DBI 658, and Goldleaf.
And yet, I have this battery drain problem in 20.0.1.

Updated to 20.1.0 w/ AMS 1.9.1, battery issue still exists (went from 90% -> 84% in 1hr). My solution for now is to turn off connecting to WiFi automatically, but I hope a fix can be found soon that doesn't involve rebuilding emuMMC.

I can confirm battery drain still exists on 20.1.0. Airplane mode workaround still works but not convenient.
Not willing to rebuild emuMMC from scratch for now neither, because nothing tells us we won't have to do it again each time N releases a new firmware

No theme, and yes for tesla to use Edizon overlay.

@its-my-right and all the others i don't understand how you have battery drain in 20.0.1,for me nothing has changed apart from the new entries on the homepage,surely you use something that causes this abnormal consumption.

@Andre63 folder 010000000000d609=dmt fork for Breeze,in the previous update you should have uninstalled that one for boot correctly and if you have other problems with booting Switch uninstall gen2 too.

since you were already on 20.0.1, update is not needed for 20.1

With a fresh emummc made from sys 20.0.1 and the exact same content on sd card (homebrew, sysmodules etc) I have no battery drain.
So, for my drain at least, it is not due to a homebrew/sysmodules/soft.

As stated before, the drain may be due do the console trying to load eula (or something) from N servers.
If I remember correctly, your console is banned. So from here I'm not realy surprised you do not experience the drain.

Plus, it seems there are some other "unknown" variables such as console generation (Erista, Mariko, v1, oled, Lite etc) for example

Thanks, I just saw that an update was made 8 hours ago.
I checked and stopped at the 99e label (which had already appeared for ATM 1.9.0).

If you update clean sysmmc online, and let it do the eula thing, can someone figure out what the right user account files are to copy over to emummc to make it believe it's done? Preferably without affecting other stuff like idk playtime records.
