Grand Theft Auto VI trailer 2

Hot on the heels of the delay announcement, Rockstar is attempting to appease its fans with a brand new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. The second official trailer, it gives over two minutes of a glimpse of what GTA VI has to offer in terms of story and visuals. If you hadn't heard already, Grand Theft Auto VI will be out May 26, 2026.

Wait for it on sale, fine, saying it looks incomplete and has very little going on even though we know nothing about the game?? That's bullshit
Here I give you that since we don't really know that much. I guess some people remember how Gta V was handled and expect the same for Gta VI.
For context: When Gta V was annnounced for the ps4, after having released on ps3, people saw rockstar add things like first person mode and even making the game better, after that they released it on pc and with the release of gta online rockstar was busy with the online portion and the single player campain was ignored, so people got cautios about Gta VI.
Also, you can have an expensive game and fail (look at concord and the suicide squad game)
Also from what I found, development started in 2018, so 7 years ago not a decade. But I understand, I felt the same with FF XV (Which I love still)

not a huge fan of the bonnie and clyde stuff but everything else looks fine. hope we can go into more shops and houses like in a shenmue / yakuza game. this game is definitely gonna run 30fps on ps5 and you have to wait 2 more years for it to come to pc

there is literally not one detail officially released about the single- or multiplayer portions of this title, so I wonder on what kind of information you are basing your assessment
im basing my assessment on rockstar wasting so much time on gta online for the last decade and not focusing on single player. also on the state of gaming as a whole these companies dont want people to enjoy offline single player content. they want you online invading ur privacy. could i just be paranoid because how corrupt gaming industry? yes but its not unfounded

San andreas was the best and ill die on that hill. Couldnt care less about 6.
I'd go to bat for GTA3, but any appreciation for the 6th gen GTA games is ok in my book.

I think one of the reasons I never played GTAV was the slippery driving of GTAIV. I hear the handling's much better in V, but I think the arcadey driving of the PS2 games was best. Pushing the series in a more serious direction led to realistic driving physics, which lead to the gameplay becoming arguably worse. Some people loved it, so maybe it's just me.

I can say V's driving is different than IV, I tried IV and while more realistic it feels a little weird

I mostly like the humor and CJs VA. The workout system was fun to mess with too. Fat CJ would drop some funny lines.

@Cranesbill I mean its Just GTA. The series peaked at san andreas imo. Never finished 4 or 5 and 6 looks like more of the same but probably with more online BS

Going to be honest, I'm heavily biased on this one. Vice City is one of my all time favorite games, the fact we are finally having a contemporary take on it like the previous two games did with other cities back then is enough for me to want it no matter what.

Hopefully, the PS5 Pro mode is properly tested so PSSR doesn't look crap. I'd much rather be playing it with DLSS 4 though.

I still need to play GTA V, I got it for free from Epic years ago. Last GTA I played was SA, I played a bit of 3 in that god awful collection, and dropped it after 20 minutes. I might get VI in a few years after release, because I'm pretty burned out by open world games.

Also, I don't believe VI will outsell V. It'll still sell well.

LMAOROFLWHAT? trailer vid day or so after the delay announcement? probably it's just so to ease people like "hey, we're still working on the game, and here's some proof of our work" maybe

oh wow, now that I looked more into it, I saw that principal development started in 2018 but they began preliminary work in 2014/2015. I was truly mistaken
