Yeah, I'm not going to bother to use bluesky, there's just no need to, same for threads. I barely use Twitter but at least I can use it to directly upload stuff from games (honestly, most of what I have seen on bluesky is parroting stuff from twitter, so there's that as well).

But with the cancel culture drama following with it.

I'll stick to my Twatter as I'm not too concerned about my usage of the site. Most of my gaming news are on there. The only reason why people often complain is because of political-related posts being the first thing you see on your timeline, to which you can in-fact remove by muting certain keywords or searching any other topic that relates to you. Remember that not every social media site is perfect, there will always be conflict.

You can fully move your data to your own server. Ofc you have a footprint, but you have way more control over your data.
