Rusty Rabbit is a 2.5D side-scrolling action game from publisher NetEase Games and developer NITRO PLUS. This game, which launches today, features an original concept and scenario by Gen Urobuchi, known for PSYCHO-PASS and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Protagonist Stamp is further brought to life by acclaimed actor Takaya Kuroda in the Japanese voiceover.

The setting is "Smokestack Mountain," a massive ruin left behind by humanity. Our hero, Stamp—a middle-aged rabbit—finds himself pulled into an unexpected adventure while indulging in his favorite hobby: scavenging old junk. His discovery of an ancient data terminal called “D-TAM,” which holds clues to his missing daughter’s whereabouts, leads him into uncharted depths… and closer to a hidden truth about the world itself.

Rusty Rabbit is available as of today on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Looking nice, not the most original concept for a game but I like what I see.

Hope the gameplay stands.

Getting it on my Switch console!

IDK why this is on the front page. Game has 3 reviews on Steam. lol Paid advert?
these are exactly the type of games a independent gaming site should be posting a topic about. they arent posting 100s of topics about it which happens when its more of a paid advert. gbatemp thankfully doesnt bomb 20front page articles about a game.

personally i like these kind of front page news stories because people can comment on the game and give me somewhat a review of what they think of it and alot of games like rusty rabbit that i wouldnt of looked at might actually get played by me if the video and comments seem like a fit for my type of gaming.

Haven't played F. I. S. T. Sorry, I don't have a point of comparison.
No harm :) thought I might ask if you perhaps did know.
But circling back to Rusty, if you compare it to games in general, what game would you say it sizes up to / compare to?

Definitely a Metroid vibe but a lot calmer. Definitely a lot calmer. Freggin Metroid Dread can be stressful at times.

hahaha it can :) But not a bad game to be compared to one bit, altough it happens a lot with Metroid because of it traits. But cool will look into this one.

this is clearly an imitation of F.I.S.T. Forged In Shadow Torch.
