Homebrew tagNX - a WIP to play *some* online third party games on banned switches

reinstall tagnx files? I tought its the same for minecraft, its just the zip file on the root of the sd card right?

might work without reinstalling but that's what I did, and yeah just drag the tagnx minecraft files to the root of the sd

good news it works on that version and website you told me to get it off from i replaced the tagnx fille with that websites one and also replaced the game version to 1.21.51 and it works now! This is great and my last question is, so what happens when there is a newer version and you get forced to update your game will the patch then still work?

You can blame that site that you got the files from if things break As of right now, this project is dead in the water. It won't be getting updated.

Thats the thing the files from the website he mentioned worked, or it was just the game version, but apart from all that really sad to hear a project like this is dead, but in any case thanks for all the stuff so far atleast they work up until now!

They didn't make the patches. Nor can they update them. These patches do require certain updates to make them work. Probably would have been a good idea to state that but oh well.

Me and my nephew playing Minecraft sometimes. Old, cheap and crappy android device - is the only gaming platform he have. And because of this he can't install latest versions of Minecraft. We're playing version 1.21.2 now. And i want to be able to connect to him from my Nintendo Switch. Will this, latest, version of tagNX work with lil-bit older version of the game?

im pretty sure the patch wont do that, its most likely your game and where you got it from, and if not, where exactly crashes the game?

At the nintendo logo on launch... deleted the files - game works. put files there again - crash

You could but would run the risk of getting the entire console and account (both nintendo and microsoft) being banned. I don't think you need an NSO to play locally (2 kids in the same room)

No sadly. This method does not work on games like that

I will dump the latest updates for minecraft, fall guys, and among us this afternoon to see if I can get them working!

Okay, so. I see there are a few that I can look into updating! I will update this list if I get things updated for certain games/apps. I know for a fact that I can update Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Youtube no problem. The others may be an issue.

Edit- Looks like I have a few others to try to fix. (Among Us, Crunchyroll, Fall Guys, and Minecraft)

Edit2- I got Minecraft launching on latest with the patch, but it will need to be fixed so that online play is fully possible. I can at least log into my microsoft account so thats a good sign! I will check out the rest once I can get the updates dumped!

nah as mentioned many times earlier, this project is kinda dead, if you want to play those online check out X-link kai
