Does Nintendon't Codes need to be same location as games

Wondering if I could get a little clarification.

I downloaded Nintendon't and it works like a charm except for using codes. I've got the gecko files for each game but they don't seem to activate

The codes are on the Micro SD with the games being on the Hard drive. Do they have to be together on one or the other or is there some other way around this?

Yes, the "codes" folder must on the same device than the "games" folder (i.e. the hard drive for you).

dev:\\games\game_name [GameID]\game.iso dev:\\codes\GameID.gct

(the iso must be named game.iso)

And set "Cheats" to "On" in Nintendont settings (in the Nintendont menu, press B to enter)
