Is there any way to back up my partitions for Android/Linux? I have backup of my Atmosphere SD card partition, full Nand/Emmc backup from it's partition, but what can I do for the others? If my SD card were to fail, I would like to be able to restore everything, including the Android and Linux stuff.

Is a banned V1 for $90 a good deal? Doesn't come with a dock or the original packaging but it has two functional Joy-Cons.

I have a modded OLED but I've never been banned so can someone explain what the caveats of a banned Switch are? So far I can think of no NSO [which I don't use] and no eShop updates [easily bypassed by sending updates locally from a normal Switch]. Nintendo can't legally bar a banned Switch from receiving system updates, so no issues there.

Are there any others I should know of?

If it is unpatched maybe it is good price, it is patched it would need a modchip. So unless you can solder properly be spending 100 more dollars.

If it's unpatched unit, you can easily install updates easily by finding them on a certain website and install via DBI installer or similar, no need to send updates from another Switch.
As far as I know, there are no real caveats if you're just going to use it for pirated content. Nevertheless, I'd still block Nintendo servers even if your console is banned in order to avoid unintentional firmware updates.

I'm mostly going to use it to fuck around with extreme OC and maybe for LABO. Not into piracy much due to performance issues. And Nintendo is always blocked on my Switches, modded or otherwise.

Idk whenever I get an SD card [I've tried different brands, speeds, sizes, everything], stuff I've installed works fine for a few months, then starts lagging immensely. Like, I have trouble playing 900MB indie games at 30FPS without frequent freezing and 3D games are just painful. This is all from installing my own cartridges and legit NSP updates from the eShop. Though this also happens with legit downloads from the eShop [on all of my Switches].

I don't have the knowledge or skills to upgrade the NAND chip, so having to install anything other than updates is a big no-no for me.

I'm using SanDisk Extreme in all of my hacked Switches and, honestly, I'm yet to run into a major issue. Slowdowns happen from time to time but are usually limited to loading screens, when game's switching between in-game footage and cutscenes and if games are poorly optimized for the Switch (I tend to avoid these and, if available, I play them elsewhere). Thankfully, first-party Nintendo games usually run well enough for my taste, which is what I mostly play nowadays anyway.

Still, you're probably installing more titles than I am so I could be that I'm yet to run into an issue. ^^

No h2testw since I'm on macOS but I do test them in Hekate [and get great speeds like 110MiB/s at first]. They are however real as I only ever buy directly from the manufacturers.

This is the one I use and have gotten replaced through SanDisk twice. Not sure why they'd replace it if it were fake.

Yep. ^^ The bigger the SD card, the longer it will take h2testw or similar to finish.
It took me about half an hour today for one 16GB SD card that I needed to test for both writes and reads.
