Not trying to get in the middle, but I just wanted to make mention that for myself it's very common practice for me to load/install batches with 100's of files selected at once. For example a newly created sd card getting populated, it's very common for me to do something like throwing the switch on a dock, loading up DBI (for example) and then selecting large batches of files at a time and letting it install.

Once a switch is setup, sure it's normally 5-10 files at a time. But for newly created partitions, very common to load 100's at a time.
Just out of interest how big is your microsd card? Surely you can only play so many games at one time. How often do you change your card? I think for most people they only install maybe 1-5 games at any one time.

I'm just providing the use case that others may also have, one size doesn't always fit everyone else. I mod switches as well, so I am often in a scenario of setting up new systems. For example, I mod a switch for my brother, or my wife etc....

At the moment I am using the 2TB V30 SD cards from SanDisk and they work quite well formatted as LargeFAT.

Fair enough and a good point.

I had a look at tinwoo/tinleaf code -
https://github.com/blawar/tinleaf/blob/master/source/usbInstall.cpp

In line 78 - tin::util::USBRead(titleNameBuffer, header.titleListSize, 10000000000);

It looks like the usb connection starts and then the timeout value gets set, once the timer expires (16.67 minutes I think), the connection times out and this is why the install failure happens after a few files when doing batch installs and is random.

Maybe i missunderstand the code but this looks more like a timeout issue rather than a buffer issue.

If there is timeout, that means that PC do not send any bytes. In case of short packet or zero length packet read function will return before timeout reached just after transmission ends.

As of now there are zero open source title installers left that are mantained and working with latest Firmware/atmosphere? Any sane recommendations?

For some reason if the NCA signature of the NSP file is invalid even if I click to proceed despite, I can never download the game. Any tips on how to fix this?

Guys, Sadly the code shared by @littlesmurf is IA generated as I know @duckbill007 is aware, the code really do not solve so much.

Thanks for the effort and please do not hesitate to share new code.
On a side note off topic...It's a shame what everyone did to Mr Dude. Like who cares what he says on random off-topic threads or does with the software he chose to make, he didn't ask anyone to pay for it so beggars can't be choosers. I'm getting all caught up and just reading all the lefty hate everyone had for him...it's quite shameful tbh. I wish he was still around and making stuff, but I guess it doesn't really matter since Switch 2 will be out soon, but still sucks. The progressive left are such hateful and spiteful people, willing to mess it up for the rest of us.

that being said, if you do have the source code or if he's ok with other people having a crack at it, maybe it can be uploaded for people to try and fork it to something current. I personally had tried all of the installers (including DBI), and Tinwoo was always the best. It was easy to use, it was fast, and worked seamlessly with NS-USBloader on the PC/Android. It would be nice to have it back is all.

Him saying hateful stuff about vulnerable minorities (thereby actively and deliberately breaking site rules) = "who cares", others calling him out for it = "so hateful and spiteful". Are you honestly unaware of how hypocritical and ridiculous you sound? Asking for a friend.

Where did you guys find such not so popular yet legendary song "bluesong.mod", by Karsten Obarski? I searched this song for like 15 minutes on google but couldn't even find a proper listing.

And what made you put this song in the background?

Awoo failed during copying over USB with latest Atmosphere, TinWoo worked.
was it a big file like 4-6gb ? only time i used awoo it gave option to install withing switch sd. didin't see MTP or usb option/
i can't transfer big files to sd because of limitation.

I used DBI (russian) installed 6g with mtp but my switch acts up with dbi.
