How to update Not64 emulator on WiiU

Hi, I have a hacked Wii U with several emulators, Not64 included. I read that a new version has been released, i unzipped the file:

In order to correctly update the emulator, I will put:

- the content of the apps folder (not64 folder) into the apps folder: https://i.postimg.cc/SRDL2y5J/Cattura2.jpg But in the new folder ther is not64.dol file, not currently present in my SD card. Why? can I avoid to copy it?

- not64 folder (it includes an empty Saves folder and the roms folder, which only includes the into the mupen64plus.v64 file) into the root of my microSD, where it is already present the not64 folder

Is that correct?

yes:

1) APPS/not64 folder: https://i.postimg.cc/SRDL2y5J/Cattura2.jpg The new is to the left, the current to the right. In the new folder ther is the not64.dol file, not present in my current installation.

I don't remember my first not64 installation, i made it some years ago...

ok...but if i extract the .zip into the not64 folder, it will automatically copy the not64.dol file, so i will have to delete it in any case. Have i correctly understood?
 
Hi guys, i need to update the Not64 emulator to its latest version but i have a question: to the left there is the new "not64" folder fro the latest update, and to the right my curren "not64" folder (included into the app folder).

I have a Wii U hacked, as i said at the beginning of this post.
How i can correctly update the emulator? Have i to copy/paste ALL the files from the new folder to my current folder?

thanks, yes, but my question is: my current "not64" folder only has 3 files. The new version has 6 files and 1 folder...is it correct to copy all the 6 files and the "licence" folder into my not64 folder?

Did anyone ever create a Not64 install that allows us to use the Gamepad as a controller? I see that it's gone on to have many updates since Wii 64 Rice last did, yet I still don't see the ability to use the GamePad with screen as a controller like Wii 64 Rice (and other Wii 64 builds) allow.

That's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm already well aware how to do that. But what we need is the modded version of the Not64 install itself to actually recognize the GamePad as a functioning controller (essentially tricking it to be considered a Wii Classic controller) when launched as an installed Wii U channel like this. For whatever reason Not64 doesn't yet have this mod, while other vWii emulators launched from the Wii U menu do, including Wii 64 Rice.

Now I know in this video, you may be tricked into thinking you can play with the actual GamePad since you see that alert pop up askimg if you want to use the GamePad controller. Don't be fooled, even if you select yes, this install won't function as a recognized controller, though it will mirror the TV screen.

Yeah, I wouldn't press on this. The developer has expressed no interest in enabling Gamepad support to be added to Not64. I don't know why, but he gets a bit snippy when people ask. He's the only one who works on it as it's closed source, so I don't think it will ever be added, unfortunately 😥

....wtf.....He makes the app for the wiiu but doesn't enable the support, for the controller, of the system ....and gets upset when people ask about it ....What kind of sadistic prick are we dealing with here?
