Hey!
I have been searching high and low for an answer on Google, but can't seem to find one. Became a dad recently and too little sleep might have rotted my brain, not sure.
It all started when I wanted to prep many of my old console so they are primed and ready for when my child gets old enough to play them.
Next up is my Gamecube.
I bought a SD2SP2 v.2.0 as it is a simple solution.
I have two Gamecube. One with a Qoob SX chip installed, which was the one I figured I could use with SD2SP2 v2.0, but it seems my Qoob SX chip might be interfering with the SP2 port, not sure.
So I checked my second Gamecube, which I honestly thought was broken. It has a genuine Wiikey Fusion installed through using a MEGAdrive v3.0 drive board. I booted it up, and it still seems to be working fine. I tried loading a Swiss iso file, and it booted straight away.
Having both a Wiikey Fusion and SD2SP2 mod seems redundant.
So which works best? Compatibility wise.
I was thinking Wiikey Fusion is old and unsupported, even though I could be wrong, and the SD2SP2 mod is somewhat new and people seem to be loving it.
Am I wrong to assume the SD2SP2 v2.0 has better compatibility than a Wiikey Fusion?
