It throws the standard switch error screen, and auto closes the software. I do see the debug.log file but it is empty and GBATemp won't let me upload it. I put it in an archive just so I can send it.

Huh, interesting. The Switch I'm using is also on 18.1.0, btw, so I don't think it's specific to that. Can you show how exactly you are launching? Maybe record a video with your phone?

Interesting. How about if you try launching via a game title while holding R, instead of through the HB Menu forwarder?

Also, I see you have the ASCII Star Wars installed, does that one work? I'm trying to understand if a different nx.js app works or not for you.

New release: switch-nsp-forwarder v0.0.2

• Traverse subdirectories of the /switch directory to find ".nro" files
• Include the root hbmenu.nro in the selection screen as well
• Show five apps per row on the selection screen (previously was four)
• Skip .nro entries that begin with a . character (MacOS tends to create these files, which are not actually NROs)
• Use more optimized method for parsing NRO metadata
• Fix issue writing the generated .nsp file when title contains illegal characters for a filename (i.e. :)
• Add a file picker interface to the selection screen to explicitly select a ".nro" file

By the way, I know the selection screen is still not scrollable. That's top of my list to fix next!

Switch NSP Forwarder 0.0.1 loads fine. but 0.0.2 crashes on loading.

• Use jimp to resize icon to 256x256 and remove EXIF data (this should prevent ? from being shown for some apps, i.e. chiaki)
• Fix potential error at boot-up if any nro files' metadata fails to parse (i.e. "mame-nx" which was reported here)
• Fix crash when selecting the "switch" directory with the file picker
• Update nx.js to v0.0.58
• Improvements to the text input editor interaction with the virtual keyboard

Mate, thanks a lot for this great great effort.

At first on my Erista FW 19.0.1, ATM 1.8.0, Hekate 6.22, console, the software Crashed, I realized was for the current status of my SDMC:/switch folder, I create one with a small subset of my files and the software ran fine, even I created some Forwarders for testing, and they worked like a charm, installed with TinWoo.

On this attached file I have a file listing of all my files on the SDMC:/switch folder, for your consideration.

For your issues with scrolling, you can talk with @JK_ who is at the moment rewriting his GREAT SaveGame tool and even recently he was telling us about the optimized scrolling routine hi created.

This is so great and convenient and finally fixed the question mark icon issue! My only problem with the app is that I have to open it again every time I want to generate a new forwarder. Worth it though!

Hey, i went through the guide but every time i install the nsp generated it just installs a blank title w a loading icon, and it doesnt ever let me open it. Not sure what the problem is or if you've seen it before.

You need to install SYS-Patch and restart your console

• Update nx.js to v0.0.62 (fixes an issue where Unicode characters were incorrectly printed)
• You can now press - on the success page to restart the creation flow, allowing for multiple forwarders to be created without leaving the app

you do realise that the author of that site is also the author of this app, right? besides that, there are many pros to being able to generate forwarders on the switch.

very awesome!!!!! I just installed it and it does not scroll down in the selection page. Also it would be nice if it just saved the nsp to a NSP folder instead of the root.
