There are many educational and entertainment resources that should be available to kids. I also wouldn't be super hyped about the government putting invasive regulations like that. (Usually have downsides for adults)I feel like the internet should only be accessible to those who are over 16.

I think parents should actually supervise their kids and not give them unlimited internet access.

Browsing the internet when I was 8 to go to the cartoon network website exclusively during the weekends due to dial-up was a fun time. But definitely different than what we have today.I feel like the internet should only be accessible to those who are over 16.

That's what I'm also thinking. The problems with letting your kids on the internet without supervision is the vast majority of explicit content, graphic violence, and other things that they shouldn't be looking at. Sure, there are educational games that they can play, but it's a parent's responsibility to monitor their activity at all times until they are a lot mature to use it themselves.I think parents should actually supervise their kids and not give them unlimited internet access.
I recall playing lots of browser games back in the dayBrowsing the internet when I was 8 to go to the cartoon network website exclusively during the weekends due to dial-up was a fun time. But definitely different than what we have today.

I used the internet when I was about two years old. Learnt how to play and search for games, watch YouTube videos, or, just about anything without my parents around to help. Never posted on a forum fully until years later, and I always gave thoughtful, research-based responses instead of asking silly questions.Browsing the internet when I was 8 to go to the cartoon network website exclusively during the weekends due to dial-up was a fun time.
