Care to give an actual example? Biden hasn't attacked the first amendment once throughout his administration AFAIK, while Trump's favorite targets over the last four years have been both birthright citizenship and freedom of the press. He even went so far as to say that the entire constitution should be "terminated" in 2023.

Well if we are going off what I have experienced in life of both sides and what I have seen these 34 years of life from people.

Left:
-Does want to censor offensive things like slurs mostly, but also things that punch down at the more vulnerable people of society.
-Wants tax payer dollars to go back to the people and small businesses, schools, and other programs that would help the American people.
-Wants Education Kindergarten to 12th grade to be free for all people, and everyone to have school lunches.
-Wants Higher Education to be socialized or at the very least severely reduced to fall in line with other such places around the world.
-Believes in teaching scientifically proven facts by professionals who work in the field.
-Believes in teaching safe sex and the use of contraceptives.
-Wants women to have their own choice about their bodies and be able to receive help should something go wrong with the fetus that could also kill the mother.
-Wants the US to be a safe place for everyone, with exception to bigots and nazis.
-Wants the police to be responsible and well trained, and take responsibility for their actions when they screw up (AKA being held to the same law that every other citizen is held to)
-Wants to help those with mental issues and addictions.

Right:
-Wants to censor anything that has to do with LGBT+ in any form or fashion.
-Considers even just existing as an LGBT+ person to be sexual and wishes for any mentions of it to be censored.
-Literally Burns books that feature LGBT+ and even ones that has anti-bigot and anti-nazi ideology feature (Literally was a book burning not too long ago where people were burning to kill a mocking bird and the diary of anne frank).
-Wants to prevent LGBT+ people from having, raising, or even being around children.
-Is banning and wants to ban more books in the US.
-Think that US is and always should be a christian nation and are even ok with the bible being force taught.
-Wants to end citizenship for those born in the US simply due to skin color (Tells literal native americans to "go back to their country")
-Wants to get rid of affirmative action laws and anti-discrimination laws.
-Thinks that Tariffs affect the supply side of imported goods and that more tariffs are a good thing because "the other country will pay and save us money".
-Thinks that Women shouldn't have any kind of sexual care, even in cases of rape or in situations where the fetus is already lost and is putting the woman's life in danger.
-Thinks women should be stay at home moms and not pursue careers or education.
-Thinks Education should be defunded, or at the very least that children should not be able to have free meals.
-Thinks all support programs should cut completely, including social security and disability. This includes ones they use, but don't realize will be cut as well.
-Thinks that mental issues aren't real or that severe and that addicts should die in the streets to "Save Taxes".
-Often doesn't care about any negative laws or outcomes unless it specifically affects them.
-Constantly go on about "What about the children" in many cases such as implementing proper gun control or training.
-Claims they want to get rid of pedophiles, but actively vote form them, hand wave them, or ignore people as long as it in their own political aisle while pointing fingers at those they don't agree with (Can't even count how many years LGBT+ community has been accused of being pedophiles and now even cross-dressers are even getting this treatment).

The left isn't perfect even especially if you consider the more extreme left who would want full blown communism, but the right actively does things in attempt to harm or disenfranchise people, even if they know it will hurt them as well in the long run or "To own the left".

Yes typical, compare states of different locations, number of population and not the numbers reported by actual people of numbers of crime, I mean youtube and media showed crime while recording a normal video. Crime has increased with defund the police, leftist mayors and district attornies.

Why I go off info reported by locals because THE numbers you are reporting have anandoctal info from police and lawyers where the crime numbers in blue states are much, much higher but the leftist government fudge the numbers so often do not report crimes, I mean someone can be robbing a shop, arrested and let go is not a reporting a crime, there is so much anodoctal evidence someone is rubbed by gunpoint or by break and enter and not reported as a crime as no one was hurt. I mean with defunding the police, less police to report the crime, DUH. PLUS it has been admitted to changing reported crime numbers in blue states because the numbers kept showing blacks are mostly causing the crimes so they lie with their numbers.

Your arguement is just proof that left lie and love to compare with irrelevant numbers as to sztrate fact and gotcha.... HAHAHA

"left" and "right" are different depending on what you want and where you are in the world. Some people seem to think "anything I don't like is left" or "anything I don't like is right", so it's difficult to really know what any of it means when everyone has a personal definition.

In the end, the only thing that matters is how do we best protect individual rights while also supporting and protecting society from bad actors? How many rights do customers/employees have in regard to businesses, and how much should we just let the chips fall where they may?

You'll find people may agree on many many things, but because of one or two things are different, suddenly they're bitter enemies and on opposite "side". Or you'll not agree with someone on nearly anything except one particular issue and now you're on the same "side". So try and avoid thinking you belong to left or the right or center, just look at who is being affected, how they're being affected short-term and long-term, and stay focused on what the ideal outcome is.

In the US by doing this, I'm always on the "left", because that's the only real option available to me. it's not ideal, but watcha gonna do.

I'm not interested in giving people a political science lesson, especially when they could easily look up the information themselves. I was just telling OP that "left" and "right" are context sensitive so we should avoid characterizing one as universally good or bad and avoid thinking all "left-wing" or "right-wing" nations believe the same things.
