My New 3DS XL has this issue where the bottom screen looks like it's peeling backwards from the panel on the corner. I took it to a local repair shop and they said there was no issue with it, and even had a second opinion on it from another tech they work with. Screen looks fine directly facing it straight on, but at certain angles the panel's light looks wavy. Am I going crazy or do you all see it too? Can anyone identify what's happening with this screen?

That's just screen lottery. Many of the TN panels have backlight bleed. Nothing you can do about that.
I thought that too, but it’s only in that top right corner. It looks like it’s very clearly peeling back, like the adhesive that keeps the frame of the panel in the housing is coming off. I can send a video if that helps show it more clearly.

If that's what you mean you can open it up and gently push the LCD back in place. Worst case you have to get some 3M adhesive and replace the old one. As long as the LCD doesn't fall out i would not worry much about it.
