If Trump loses, I fear we're in for another civil war. I know people's response to that is "oh we beat the traitors, we'll beat them again" but blue voters in red states are in genuine danger of being mugged or murdered by the larger community. They might be preparing for martial law if that happens.
To be honest, while there are a lot of people supporting Trump, I don't believe there are a lot of them that are willing to put their lives on the line for him through the act of a civil war. And to be further honest, so many of those people are not in a position to go on a violent spree because they are simply not capable of it, whether than be physically, financially, etc.

I think of this like I think of the "console wars". You've got your Nintendo fanatics, your Sony fanatics, your MS fanatics, etc, but those are such a small portion of the overall install base for any of them. What makes up the rest are casuals that like what they like. If they don't like something, they move on.

I can respect a conservative

I do not respect voting for Trump, he's a dangerous idiot
Well he’s the only one getting the real votes and I want my first election to count, especially now since I’m in a swing state

Trump could bus them in, but they'd probably have to find they're own way back because of Trumps nonpayment policy.
Respectfully. Ew

This one specifically it wasn’t in a college so of course most wouldn’t drive there

Respectfully, that’s like saying wheres the tacos in a sushi restaurant

Pretty bad excuse when Trump's rally is close to two college universities.

We're not going to get a civil war if Trump loses.

What we might see is another 1/6 attempt, along with attacks on state and local government buildings, and then various MAGA acts of violence. The latter isn't new, they were behind most of the violence during the 2020 BLM protests and I previously provided data on that.
The violence is already happening.

Lol Wasn't trying to imply that. It is just crazy that it is happening already.
Makes sense. Trump has been inciting them much earlier on along with the tons of disinformation from Russian interference and Elon Musk sowing all of that and letting it be shown all over Twitter.

The Civil War won't be like on the 1800s, it'll be isolated pockets of violence across the entire nation. It won't be organized.

I know the "majority" of Trump voters probably won't get violent, but a sizable portion of them genuinely believe that if they have to slaughter people in order to "save" this country, they'll do it. And for people voting blue in red states and red neighborhoods, they will not be able to sleep peacefully regardless of how small the minority would be, because you have no idea where it would come from.

Then I wouldn't exactly call it a civil war

The term you are looking for is civil unrest

As a resident of the triangle (which is the overaching metro area of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill) the NCSU has its own bus system that’s free for NCSU students that literally goes down the street from the stadium too, if a student were so inclined to go the rally. Dunno if its free for Shaw or Meredith, but something tells me students of a historically black university and a private women’s university (respectively) would probably not go to to the trump rally.
