Bold choice to campaign in Houston, a notoriously blue city, within a notoriously red state. I'm sorry, but everyone in Houston was already going to vote Kamala. Houston has never even gotten close to swinging Texas blue, though.

Women feel terrified of Ted Cruz and his brain dead policies. Women also love seeing Beyonce at Reliant Stadium. Easy win, but I'm curious what kind of domino effect she's going for here. What's the end goal in coming to Houston?

Everyone Democrat is saying "zomg we have a chance at Texas", I'm sorry, but no. Even if it was a packed house at Reliant for Kamala on her own, this isn't frickland hickville Texas with the yehaws in their cowboy hats all suddenly deciding to vote blue. This is a huge city. A strongly blue city. It's tantamount to going to Los Angeles and being shocked by a full house, and saying "omg we did it, California will be blue". So... What's the end goal?
Trump is also having a rally in madison sqaure garden

That's a more helpless case tho

if you take margin of error there (10/22 poll) and give Kamala and Trump their maximum skew - that puts Kamala at 49.9% and Trump at 41.1%

So there is no way for him to win there in that 95% confidence interval - would be interesting to see what the 99% confidence interval looks like tho

There would have to be a 13% skew to get Trump to 50%

To put it in better perspective - Kamala is more likely to win Utah than Trump is to win NY

Point of going to Texas is to highlight their extreme abortion bans during the final push. They're even looking at forced disclosure of medical records for women who leave the state to get an abortion, real Handmaid's Tale type shit, which is exactly what Republicans want to enact across the entire nation.

Also at play is the fact that Harris could help boost Allred, who is leading Ted Cruz in many polls. Worth drawing on that enthusiasm in hopes that it might translate to better-than-predicted up-ballot success.

That's because when he was live in Michigan (and yes, late), everyone on youtube was watching the Rogan interview.

Also, that moment in the Kamala rally was right after Beyonce left the stage. Which, everyone was watching then and expecting Beyonce to sing, which she did not. All she did was introduce the VP. And that's why the Harris rally got so out of control once Kamala was at the mic.

The Rogan interview is now working on 15 million views on youtube, after being online only 15 hrs. And of course there's Rogan's main audience on Spotify.

she is not winning Texas
probably not, but it's possible according to polls (within margin of error)

Republican vote share has been downtrending

Demographics are changing too, there are more hispanic than white non-hispanic for every group under 50 - and hispanic people tend to vote D. It may not happen this election (although possible) but it will likely happen within the next decade

Whatever helps you sleep better at night. It keeps getting closer to flipping every election thanks to shifting demographics.

Not necessarily a positive thing for Trump, given how badly the interview went. Had Rogan laughing at him, not with him, ranted about "stupid women" criticizing him, and drifted off into his usual dementia word salad while never actually answering the questions asked of him. It's Sarah Palin all over again, only difference being that Republicans no longer have the same standards they did back then. Or any standards, for that matter.

he does that alot and does it for free
Quit your useless squawking parrot

didn't happen. I watched the entire 3 hrs. You probably watched someone's misleading 10 second edit.

It was civil, unscripted, and went 3 hrs. It never got "exciting" but Rogan's podcasts rarely do. They're not for the short attention span crowd.

And I assure you, it went much better than Ms. Harris' attempt at a town hall on CNN the other night.

Rogan asked about the 2020 being "stolen," Trump ran through a laundry list of excuses and lies before finally just admitting he lost, and Rogan laughed at him for that. On the very rare occasion he does give a straight answer or tell the truth, he always has to sugarcoat it or gish-gallop around it first. It's dangerous to have an ego that fragile in the White House, as we already saw with Putin and Kim Jong Un easily manipulating him.

Not to mention the Kamala one has Beyonce, the Trump one is a run of the mill rally

To be fair it should be two rallies that don't have special guest stars or other shenanigans
It's not Kamala's fault that Trump is handling rallies so bad. If we were looking for things to be fair, they would do things like using music they have permission for, be there on-time, and not leave rally goers stranded afterwards.

Yeah; no.
Definitely not. CNN scripted the town hall to be confrontational, while Rogan was just there to glaze Trump, and the younger and sharper candidate still came away sounding younger and sharper. Who woulda thought. I can't imagine listening to the entire 3-hour interview, just total brain rot.
