Do the lives of women with
ectopic pregnancies count?
Or lives of pregnant women with cancer that are denied chemo because it could cause an abortion? What about other high risk pregnancies, like a raped child too young to safely deliver the baby?
Or when their water breaks extremely early, e.g. 18th week, so the baby have zero chance of survive, but
the shitty Texas law denies the abortion and forces the women to wear the inviable fetus as it rots inside her?
Those situations aren't new, republican legislators knew of them before writing their abortions bans, they just don't care about the life of the mother when debating abortion, even in inviable pregnancies. They aren't PRO-LIFE (otherwise, they would give health care to pregnant women and children), they are PRO-LABOUR.
