There are plenty of differences between an embryo and an actual breathing and functioning baby. It's not hard to look up what abortions actually are and why they aren't about "killing babies".

An embryo is basically not even a conscious or even developed a conscious at all like a human being does. It's still mostly a clump of cells that have the POTENTIAL of becoming a human being, but it's not one yet. It's still part of the mother's body, so she can decide whether to keep it or not within the timeframe before it does fully develop an actual form and is considered a "living individual" in medical terms.

Plus, there are many reasonable reasons why women would want an abortion. Such as if they were victims of rape, not financially ready to care for a baby, not physically/mentally healthy enough, etc.

There are exceptions to be made in case of emergencies. Such as when there's an actual risk of the fetus going to harm the mother and may result in either one's deaths or both if nothing is done.
