Hey
I've been trying to load games from my usb drive to usb loader gx but when I load up the app it doesnt initialize the drive even though i plugged it into port 0 (i have my wii u on the side with the power buttons on the right, port 0 is at the bottom right?)

What am i doing wrong?

I have attached my syscheck with this post

Thank you

You are using the wrong cIOS and also the other recommended are missing.
Check this guide: https://wii.hacks.guide/cios-vwii

Ports when WiiU is horizontal
Port 0 on WiiU -> back upper port
Port 1 on WiiU -> back lower port

For a lot of other questions check here:
USBLGX Troubleshooting guide
I know that you're supposed to use the top port on WiiU, but I thought it was still called port1, is that not the case?

Edit: @ OP, if portable your drive may need more power via a Y cable

On the original Wii is your mentioned Layout correct when in horizontal position.
Wii back upper USB-port => Port 1
Wii back lower USB-port => Port 0

On the virtual Wii of the WiiU is it the opposite layout.
vWii back upper USB-port => Port 0
vWii back lower USB-port => Port 1

I`ve checked different sources to verify.

sorry for the late post, my notifications weren't on for some reason... I followed the instructions in the link Sypherone posted so hopefully this syscheck is now correct... I will try the usb drive again once its free to use... if it fails again it might require a Y cable so i will have to buy one of those.

Hello,

correct syscheck report.:yayu:

yes get a Y cable for your USB key (better connectivity with the wii U).

OR the other choice ==> get an external hard drive with a Y cable and everything works fine, this is fine.:yayu::lol:
