As usual with projects by Marc and his team, we can expect a great quality product in this latest colourization romhack, which not only colorizes the entire game, but also features a number of bugfixes and quality of life changes compared to the original monochrome official release.

Always nice to have more Mega Man content kicking around. I have a love-hate relationship with the games insofar as I've played them (but love mostly wins out).

Ooh nice. I thought he'd start with the first one though. I think he went 5 - 3.
As far as I understand, he started with 5, and now is going in order. 1 & 2 are available. So this is 3, meaning 4 is all that's left to be released.

I'm actually excited about this. I played 1 & 2 last month in preparation for 3 coming out. I have backlit modded original Gameboy Color with an Everdrive GB X7 I've been playing these on.

Skipping 1, 2, and 4 seems so weird to me. Especially starting with 5 instead of 1. But I guess it doesn't matter asong as all 5 eventually get done.
Specialagentape's 1 and 2 colorizations are part of the project too. :)

2 in particular has some really nice improvements as well, including the option to use forple's remixed soundtrack with redone sound effects. It's a lot more pleasant on the ears.

There's a number of reasons for that.

Mega Man V is a very complex game, technically speaking, and is the only one of the five to not have bosses from the NES games. Dr. Wily's Revenge and II were instead already done by another author.

Now all that is left is Mega Man IV and the Game Boy saga will be complete.

Marc Robledo ... Isn't he the guy who made the save editors for BoTW and ToTK ? Never knew he did stuff outside that, great stuff I might check that out even tho I'm not a huge Mega Man fan

Awesome! I still can't believe these pieces are finally coming to pass; now I wait in great anticipation for my personal favorite, IV. :D

When they're all done, I'll probably do a full run through of each of em. Hehe this is so cool!
