I was wondering if I can copy all my SD card to my PC, format it to exFat, copy everything back onto it and can I run cfw that way. FAT32 is a lot slower has a file size limit which is rough when trying to back up larger games.

You don't need exFAT, you can do everything on FAT32.

Those answered the question thank you.

Now I have a new question. I have my keys files for NUT, but I can't transfer them over because the names don't have the titleID in the file name. I tried using the XCI title id viewer and pasting the info in but that did nothing. I can transfer files over with USB, and them install them from my SD card, but tinfoil stops trying to install at the last 5%. Is there a fix for this.

Use dbi instead of tinfoil if you are installing games from computer over usb cable.

I've always tried to keep the screen brightness levels on my OLED model Switch at about halfway or below, a year later and the screen still looks fine. Does anyone have experience using the OLED screen at peak or near peak brightness for a similar period of time? I'm really scared of burning my screen but I also feel like it's such a waste to not use it at its whole potential. (As you can see I'm not really savvy on this OLED technology).

Dropping em on the SD card worked best.

I'm trying to install the updates for my games and it installs as a separate cloud version for some games, but not for others. What could cause that? All the updates match the game I am installing as far as I can tell.

Wrong, dropping files on to SD is just waste of time then you have to install them, when you can just install files from computer over usb cable without needing to copy to the SD card. My point is you should just use dbi instead of tinfoil and nut so you don't have to look up title ID.

That's how I use mine as well.

It should be fine to use it near the peak brightness for a long time as it shouldn't burn in that easily. One of the YouTubers, Wulff Den, kept his OLED at max brightness on a still image for a very long time and it took it a while to burn in. So I'd say that a normal usage should be fine.

My guess is you're trying to install updates for different region than your base game. The title IDs don't match. You should check your nsp files with something like NXFileViewer to make sure your updates correspond to the base game. The title IDs should be the same, except for the third number from the right, 8 for update, 0 for base.

Ok I mostly understood that. I'll check it out and see how it works out for me.

Edit: Yeah that was it. the update was for the Asian region and not the US region, thanks.

Hello,

So I just performed a System Update for my Nintendo Switch, and now, when I try to log back to my EmuMMC, I'm just stuck on a black screen eternally. I'm guessing that this could be caused by the fact that I didn't uninstall my themes before performing the update, but I'm also scared by the idea that I could have gotten banned..

If somebody has a fix for me, it would be highly appreciated

Nope, basically I tried to start Zelda BOTW and I got a pop-up saying something like "An update is available for your switch. Update it now / Play the game without downloading it". And as you could guess, I naively chose the "update" option, which led me to this issue. I'm going to re-install everything right now and I'll tell you if it got fixed.
