Got one of those, completing my DS collection of one system each. The display is far worse than what I remember, but still neat.

Also got those two games, and maybe someday I can get the third one, too.

And also one of those things for pico-8 and some systems that don't emulate well on my other smaller handhelds.

And a wireless Dreamcast controller. No complaints with that one either.

And lastly yet another mini disc album.

Gift from my awesome spouse. He's gonna go great with the matching Zelda amiibo I'm trusting they will release with the new game.

Can you believe my first Zelda game was The Wind Waker? In my case it's more like the Wind Wanker...

Just the absolutely necessary amount.

I have two DS Lites because the white one was broken until literally yesterday, and I got the zelda one about 5 years back when I was fairly certain I wouldn't be able to repair the white one. Well I got a lot better at soldering so now my old DS Lite is back in peak condition.
Fun fact: that golden Zelda shell fucking sucks, that has got to be one of the worst aftermarket shells to ever be made.
I have to figure out what to do with that thing, I might just turn it into a GB Macro or something, or give it a good aftermarket shell and sell it.

My computer setup chair got broken this weekend so I searched for a tool to remove the cylinder, because the damage was on the lower plate and you can not weld that plate with the cylinder on place because the cylinder will explode.

Most of the tools on Amazon was 20 - 30 USD. But in a spark of despair I told to my self: damn! will solder that with the cylinder there and change the cylinder if get damaged, so started to search for a cylinder replacement (I knew they are cheap). For my luck was a Cylinder for 15 USD INCLUDING THE REMOVAL TOOL AND EVEN GLOVES!!

So I have now a spare Cylinder and was able to remove the old cylinder to be able to weld the plate and assemble again my chair.

The set:

Now the chair is like new!!

Not my best Welding job but I am very confident that weld will last another quinquennial.

15 USD for the tools and spare Cylinder (din´t damaged my current one) and 20 minutes of welding, save me 200 USD of a new chair.

Dude, that is awesome! i have pretty much the same kind of chair that you do (at least I'm making that assumption), and it broke (same places as yours did), but I do not have your mad skillz in welding. I had to buy a new one it was like $239. Good for you saving a shidload of money and by doing this you redeemed the chair because everything else with the chair was just ducky. Bravo!

That is fucking awesome! I have 5 Vitas myself, 4 of which are hacked. The black one is still stock as it was my first Vita that I bought in like March of April of 2012.

Sucks about the Zelda one but you sound like you know what you're doing with it... :)

Those are beautiful. I have got a MiniDisc player/recorder, of which you can copy your MP3 files onto them and erase them if you don't need them anymore. Problem with this one, however, is the hinge doesn't close properly without wiggling it around to get the disc to recognise.

You got a fancy HiMD recorder? I do have one of those (and I use it for all my disc writing) but usually I just listen to mine on a regular MD unit.
The HiMD player I eventually want to get is basically never listed anywhere.

Yep, I sure do. And it's filthy. I bought it for only a £1 from a car boot sale, guy hasn't tested it but I managed to get it working still.

Been reorganizing my room, and I’ve noticed I have many controllers (PS4 and PS5) all over the place, so I ordered a bunch of those under-desk controller mounts. I also ordered a USB-C port mod for my GBA SP.

Bought Resident Evil and Silent Hill 4: The Room on GOG, and so far in the Steam Summer Sale, I bought Shadow of War and Supermarket Simulator.

Also ordered from a “kind of local” hobby shop a plane and a tank model kit. I say “kind of local” because it's about an hour’s drive to get there.

Found these giant mid 80's pioneer speakers out for trash pickup, all woofer cones are intact, not even the dust covers are pushed in, everything else is in near perfect condition

They arnt as bassy as my old late 90's sony bookshelf speakers, more of a neutral sound, just highlights more how weak the sub is (45w old sony sub), the center channel is pretty weak also (35w old sony speaker), those 2 are next on the agenda, tv could use an update too but been working fine for 16 years now, too bad toshiba doesnt make tv's anymore

They are 150w speakers also were the last ones were about 80w, if I cant drive them properly cant do much about that though, no preamp out on the avr, other just increase the db setting for them in the avr settings
