Privacy Blocker is a custom-built PowerShell script that aims to boost your privacy and security by effectively blocking telemetry data and specific IP addresses. This script helps prevent the collection and transmission of sensitive data, giving you greater control over your digital privacy.

Block Telemetry and Tracking Domains
Privacy Blocker is an easy-to-use tool that provides a simple solution for blocking various telemetry and tracking domains. By running a single PowerShell command as an administrator, the tool automatically adds entries to your host file, enhancing your privacy and security. This straightforward process effectively prevents unwanted data collection and tracking, giving you more control over your online activities.

Usage
Open PowerShell with administrator privileges, then run the script using the following command:

irm "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oqullcan/Privacy-Blocker/main/PrivacyBlocker.ps1" | iex

Enter

Descriptions Provided
As Privacy Blocker runs, you will see precisely what it is doing. It also shows you any failed actions, which are highlighted in red. The script provides a streamlined method for blocking designated domains by efficiently managing and refreshing the hosts file on your system. This action effectively prohibits your computer from establishing connections with these specific domains, thereby enhancing the protection of your data against potentially intrusive trackers.

IPv4 and IPv6 Supported
Privacy Blocker supports IPv4 and IPv6 entries, effectively blocking domains regardless of their IP version. This comprehensive feature offers robust protection against a wide range of trackers, ensuring enhanced user privacy and security.

Layered Protection
Privacy Blocker additionally uses the Windows Firewall to block specified IP addresses, ensuring that even if a domain tries to bypass the host's file, it will still be blocked by the firewall, further enhancing your overall security.

Privacy Blocker Features:

Cleans and updates the hosts file to block specified domains.
Supports both IPv4 (0.0.0.0.0) and IPv6 (::1) entries to block domains.
Blocks specified IP addresses using Windows Firewall.
Includes comments for each blocked entry for easy identification.

Important! If your hosts have add many block list include before. Please backup your hosts file somewhere to keep safe!

C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Welcome anytime. I did apply this and no problems with it. It's don't break Windows operating system. Still running fine without any problems.

Block all Microsoft background service collection for data, personal info, etc means stop send files to Microsoft servers.

Punch Microsoft spywares out then victory! Yay! Old school rules forever that's why Microsoft must not mess with us and people! Never mess with old school rules. Microsoft should learn their biggest mistake lessons.

 :yay:

So, what are you using on your Android phone to prevent data being sent to Google and every company you have an app installed from? What web browser do you use, and what precautions are you taking for your data? Also, what about any bank debit cards or credit cards? Any email accounts? Any social media accounts? Any other online accounts where you have provided your name, email address, date of birth, etc? LOL! You're way too paranoid about Windows when I bet you have little to no measures in place for other things I mentioned.

Have you seen what Microsoft collects when you use CoPilot, or are you not that paranoid that you make constant OPSEC mistakes along the way?

And just to show how CoPilot invades your privacy, it collects information from your browser (such as history) whilst you search the web and takes screenshots of your desktop. The worst part, is that everything is stored inside an unencrypted folder with no form of encryption.

I recommend you go watch Mental Outlaw go into detail about it, then you can decide for yourself whether to stay with Microsoft or move to Linux like us.

Co Pilot is disabled so....

That also doesn't cover all the other things I mentioned.

I do use Google account with semi half fake and real name. I use my birthday on Halloween to fool all companies forever. Nothing will happen to me. Want to give blood to companies then companies will hate it. Give many creepy to companies. LOL! :rofl2::rofl2:

All of your email addresses, banking accounts, Amazon or any other place you shop online. I could list tons of other examples. I guarantee you don't use fake info for all of them. Fake name, fake address, and fake payment information everywhere? LOL!

Welcome back! Yes, I am the developer of Privacy Blocker.

I had previously deleted the project because I switched to Linux and removed it from my GitHub page because I no longer needed Privacy Blocker. However, after a while, a few people forked the project. So, I decided to switch back to Windows and prepare the project in a more comprehensive and professional way. During this process, this forum caught my attention while searching the internet. When I read your articles, I became more enthusiastic about continuing the project, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again.

I would also like to thank you for solving the problem with YouTube and informing people.

You are a gift!

I recently installed Linux on a laptop which saved it from a shitty bloated windows 10 install. Now it works like a dream. My desktop PC runs Win 7, which I stubbornly cling to. I know that one day I may need to use 10 or 11, but haven't touched it with a 60 foot pole due to the privacy issues. This will help immensely.
