ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

I tried a few things. Mem dump and float, first with main then with the full dump, even did inverse, couldn't get an X coordinate. I was going to try u64 and u32 after but I didn't make it back to it today. Any tips for how I'd find an X coordinate?

like Zit said do a main dump then more or less depend on u r stand still or walking do it in float first if not work then switch to other will take awhile...... good luck

@Gamerjin, possible solution to bypass softlock
1. continue game, backup address and decimal value since the pointer points to a different hp address on every hit
2. edit deicmal value so that it would change to double on hit
3. restore original decimal value to original address
4. lock double value in game

played up to here without any softlock

when hp is more than 255, it will continue game as double value, no more backup decimal value needed
when hp is less than 256 then double becomes decimal

So, I did a full dump, tried walking left and right (right being an increase) with float and u64, tried main only on 32. While some values stuck around, doing a full freeze on them didn't cause my character to freeze in place.

Also tried a verticality test, though I didn't do one with terrain only. The building I was climbing may have thrown off the results. That one I did as float and I think u32. No results, increasing for a height increase.

Search was ++, --, and SAME as needed. I'm really disappointed, because I can see the spot I should be at, but there's an invisible wall - I'm literally walking on air across a place with some missing planks, yet I'm blocked at the end. Unstuck in game just puts me inside the nearby inn which is on the wrong side of the blockade. No way to teleport out, and I'm too much of a noob to figure out player coordinates.

If it helps, the auto-saves can place the player at exact locations, so the location data is also inside the save file, but yeah, I'm a dozen or so hours into it and stuck waiting for either a cheat (moon jump, no-collision, teleport) or a patch on a lower end game that may be weeks or months away. Major bummer.

sry, but can you confirm something for me? when your hp is dbl float, is the value right after it "00800020"? im think i see a pattern here, but only when the hp is dbl flt. when the hp is dbl flt, i think the max hp is -0xC from the hp pointer.

max hp should be based by lv, it doesn't do any good, could be just a face value if you tried to edit it
quick lv up to pass hp 255 then you could use inf hp cheat with no problems

Idk, i made them using Edizon SE, since it was static values it should have worked normally on your game just like it works on mine. But i will try to make some pointers for it later and post it again, can you test them again and see if they work? I will try to make them into pointers asap.

Use Edizon SE to bookmark the codes and tell me what it shows so that i can check about the values too if possible.

if you want to get out of it keep on trying, hp only work in battle out world map is not exist. Nothing to base on to looking into its memory....

yep, still not working on edizon. Just like in attachment, I set infinite money, gems, and rice ball but when I go shopping for material, the money is still normal quantity and also reduced when used to buy items.

btw, I just installed the newest DLC of this fate samurai remnant too, its this one:

yep, still not working on edizon. Just like in attachment, I set infinite money, gems, and rice ball but when I go shopping the material, the money still normal quantity and also reduced when used to buy items.

I think the DLC might have affected the game version since mine doesn't have this DLC. The game version is the same as you said but since mine doesn't have the DLC the code might be different and it`s causing the cheats to go into another adress, and that might be the reason why it isn't working. I'll install this DLC to see if it changes the adress with my cheats, if it does i'll redo then, if it doesn't i'll make the pointers.

since I just installed all the version of the game until this 1.1.4 plus DLC so I thought the cheats also need updates, since usually the other games also changed its BID when its updated to the newer version, so it also need new cheats too.

if your gonna search for the game code try using u16 or u32 or u64. = (greater >) or Less than <, main or the first choice, the value number of certain item quantity. Also don't use Ram on search it will take forever to search the code.

example: [u32, =. MAIN, 199] <- This is the example if your searching for max money...Items and such I have no luck finding.

So its a pain to find the codes your wanting it might ended endless of hours searching what code is your looking for. I tried 999 Atk it works but won't work on actual gameplay it display on status hub but won't work on actual fighting, tried the DEF, or Damage still doesn't apply. Its annoying to find codes for this game. Probably they created a code that changes even if you cheat keeps changing the code. Lucky the Max Shia I'd used work one time. Looking for specific code will take probably forever to find. Try the Money codes instead of the item and such...

Seems like it was the DLC who indeed scrambled the codes, but i found them again with the DLC, i will post them here, see if they work now.

Usually i find the codes rather easily depending on the game, i'm working on Money, Coins and Souls for Pirate Warriors 4 1.8.0 and most of the values are static, they are on an adress and when you close and enter the game again they are on the same adress. Same with Fate Samurai Remnant since it's both from Omega Force.

And i usually search only U16 (2 bytes) or U32 (4 bytes) for decimal values, like those you mentioned, most of the time they are on HEAP but i can be on MAIN as well but for the ones that i did for myself it`s usually HEAP.

I'm a newbie, so i might be wrong and if i am i do ask that someone who knows better correct me, but the values that you mentioned that changed when you use the code seems to need to find the pointer for them to work all the time, since the adress doesn't look like a static one.

A few comments about your post.
1. Always quote the post you are replying to, there are 3051 pages of posts in this thread.
2. Searching for main should be exclusively for items you already know for certain is in main otherwise always search for ram. Heap is the bulk of the memory anyway so if you search heap might as well search ram. ( or suffer the consequence of missing out now and then, do not complain that you cannot find if you don't search ram )
3. Crash when you search is often due to you having sysmodule of the titan class in size ( for example tesla )

PS: Breeze is fast enough even if you start with 1 ( never start with 0, it would be very foolish to start with 0 because Nintendo clear the ram before it starts the game, 0 is all over the place )
