I believe Trump is a rapist yes and I don't believe she's his only victim.

The courts agree with me on the first part.

And no, you can read the court case on this. I'm not interested in another round of MAGA gish gallop with you.

You didn't answer the question, nor do I expect you will. Or can.

You're asking a pointless question to gish gallop, as MAGAs tend to do.

I'm simply calling it out.

You're either defending a rapist which is gross, or you don't believe he committed the act which makes you an idiot.

Based on previous interactions with you, I have no issue stating you're a gross idiot.

Both of you please knock it off. If neither of you are willing to answer the others' questions then there's no need to continue the conversation. Either state your opinions and respond respectfully, or don't respond at all. Both of you are accusing the other of evading questions, and you both are. If you can't be respectful with someone who has a different opinion than you then leave. Seriously. It's getting old.

He hasn't asked any questions, nor have I evaded any questions from him.

I asked one question.

Both of you are escalating tensions by using provocative language. I'm respectfully asking both of you to stop.

This is also false, with respect to my posts. He just can't answer the question, which was just that he back up his own statement.

The questions in regards to this court case are unnecessary and he's simply trolling. I'm calling that out.

He's literally gish galloping which is a known alt right rhetoric tactic which I've defined previously.

The questions in regards to this court case are unnecessary...

Then you shouldn't have brought it up.

I asked one question that you have certainly evaded. Hypocrite.

I live nowhere near MN. Nice place from everything I've seen though. I'd like to try ice fishing in a hut with a little stove and some liquor. Looks like fun.

Carroll's lawsuit was funded by billionaire founder of LinkedIn, Reid Hoffman. He is also a major Democratic Party and leftist cause donor. So, technically you're correct the DNC and "government" had nothing to do with it, but a significant source of the DNC's money did. There's nothing legally "wrong" about a major DNC donor bankrolling Carroll's case, but it's probably fair to say the motivations there are a lot more about "getting" Trump, and less about poor Ms. Carroll.
You could also see it as pure speculation investment. Betting against Trump in lawsuits is quite lucrative, and this one wasn't even the most likely he'd lose.

But you're probably right: the lawsuit was probably aimed more at bringing down Trump than justice for Carroll. Quite an easy presumption: he makes it about as literally impossible as he can to remain neutral on him as a person (eg: he's currently threatening republicans who dare to donate to Nikki Haley).

It's been one day since the result, and if you look at the "Truth" social posts he's made since then, not a single mention of the name E. Jean Carroll out of his rapist mouth.

I guess $83 million is the magic number to get trump to shut up!

:rofl2: Good one.

Turns out Trump has no grounds for appeal because his lawyer did not retain any during the trial. She responded "no objection" to every piece of evidence entered into the record, despite the fact that she was not required to say anything. Appropriate that he's finally found a lawyer as stupid as he is, though now I'm wondering who at the Bar Association is handing out passing grades in exchange for blowjobs.

Every lawyer worth their salt is staying as far away from him as possible. He's a sinking ship from a legal standpoint. Oh, and this video as well:
