You can use webMAN-Mod instead of multiman, it adds shortcuts in the XMB and even has a menu that you can pop-up anytime in the XMB (L2 + R2 iirc)

how do I use webMAN to make the forwarders? I have a webMAN folder on the XMB and i can open that to get to my games, but is there a way to display all of them on the XMB without entering that folder? In addition, my PSX and PS2 games just have a picture of a disc and the title; is there a way to make that look nicer?
