Sexual orientation is different to gender identity. Sexuality refers to who you are attracted to, romantically, or sexually. By all means, if you're a doctor, you should know this by now.

I never said they were, please gain some reading comprehension seriously

I was saying sexuality (as in heterosexual, homosexual etc) is typically from the perspective of one's gender identity and not one's sex

So for instance someone who identifies as male (gender identity) who is attracted to men (gender identity) is homosexual regardless of assigned sex at birth
