Should I be worried about improper shutdowns? When exiting Zelda Pircross (The Fangame), there's always a black screen with an option to save a crash dump. Maybe there's a fundamental difference in operating system design because improper shutdowns tend to be bad for Windows, PS3, Vita, etc.

They're "improper", so yes, possibly?

A failing SD card can cause lots of mysterious problems, and a failing SD card is absolutely something to be worried about.

Connect the SD card to your PC, copy everything off the SD card with Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier, format the card, test the empty card with h2testw, and copy everything back if the test is okay. Sometimes just copying everything off and back is enough to solve some problems.

H2Testw has saved me before from counterfeits on Amazon. But this is a software issue with that homebrew Zelda game. It just spawned the question as it's an area of software development I've never touched yet.

If it was an issue with the game, don't you think other people would be reporting similar problems?
Can you name one other person that plays it? Be the first for me. I bet it would be more popular if it didn't have the same name as an official Zelda game.
